  • That is exactly correct, the speed and when it changes are the same as mine, but mine ramps up farther than 4.5g's. 96 f150 302. runs to 40 in 1st, 60ish 2nd, 80 3rd and at 85 it shifts to od. plus mines got underdrive pullys from a mustang, lets say "converted" to fit my truck. theyre badass trucks tho. The one wheel wonders when burnin out tho. Ford all the way! and to the guy about burnin bout that fast, ur ratarted

  • i have a 94 f150 5.8l with 208k miles, and i just rode 5 min at 90mph. my doors almost flew off goin down the road but it sure was fun.

  • i just watch the gas hand drop

  • I ride in a 351 f150 all the time, it has 267k and still runs like a champ

  • I have a 94 f150 with 259,000 on it. still goin strong!

  • there goes $10 in gas lol

  • check engine!

  • My 94 f150 supercab, with a 5.0, does 0-60 in about the same time yours did. not too sure what tranny it has. my uncle believes it may have a HO block from a mustang. It has about 205k miles and some messed up lifters. Either way, these trucks arent too bad. I find they are faster from 40 up that 0-60, prolly cuz of the wider gear ratios.

  • @B1Springfield we used to have a 94 f-150 but ours was a regular cab stepside with a 5.0 and they actually came factory with HO block. and we got ours with like 200k miles on it and it also had bad lifters but we changed them and we never had a problem with it all the way untill we sold it.It was a quick truck and would go like a tank in 4wd

  • Lol I've done 115 in my 88. Thats what the guy in the Dodge behind me was doing anyways

  • my F150 I6 300 got caught doin 87 in a 60 and that was after I downshifted and put on the brakes...

  • They need the 5.8's again

  • Wow that's what I call F 150 Fast - Very cool.

  • not bad man. 0-90mph in like 26 seconds. Pretty good for a truck

  • I have A 90' with 140k and its been fliped but still runs like a champ. I'v got it up to 80 with out a speedo. The staghit 6 is no joke. I'v seen it pull 7000 lbs.

  • C6 or E4OD?

  • This isn't fake. These trucks can accelerate pretty fast. My '94 F150 gets up to 60 pretty damn fast.

  • we got one t. only about 50,000 on the motor tho

  • wtf are you talking about? it was a speed run to 90mph think your the retard if you thought it was me smoking the tires to 90mph.... which obiously u thought that so... dude ur the freaking retard

  • LOL

  • @minib88 lol

  • @minib88 ive seen it done but not in a truck,

  • If you heard the wind, how was it fake....?

  • @1969fordman u just made a total ass out of yourself

  • @1969fordman faggot

  • Them older ones have a buoy for a guage, the newer are electronic

  • Either your gas gauge is wrong or you get the worst gas mileage ive ever seen in my life

  • I drive a '95 F-150 with a 5.0, if his guage is anything like mine then it will give a wrong report when the truck ether accelerates hard or stops hard. Ether way it is perfectly normal and it returned to the correct position after he slowed down.

  • @Digginforclams mine does the same thing, i consider it a foreshadowing....basicly the truck sayin "you keep doin this shit and this is what im gonna do" lolz XD

  • 30 seconds eating 3 gallons of gas. In 30 seconds spent 5 bucks but had a frigging blast! Nice job.

  • your not even burning out ou peeled out and kept drivin i hear the wind ... lame

  • have a 91 ford bronco silver anniversary with factory 5.8 HO 351 with 485,211 miles the only things changed are plugs, wires, alternator {because of the solo baric 12's and diesel audio 3000 amp}and water pump everything else is all factory and im still smokin new trucks.

  • that's good acceleration for a truck. Ford rules.

  • the 302 will beat the 351 in a drag raee if they are stock for stock

you can put that 302 in a single cab short bed and do the same for the 351.

I know, ive owned both and the 302 is faster, but the 351 tows better

maybe I got a factory freak idk

  • true my dads ford f150 has a 302 and it huals ass

  • what about the 300

  • @wc3john the 302 is a smaller engine so i picks up speed faster, but the 351 is bigger so it has a longer crankshaft witch means more torque and more pullin power....i dont know how correct that is, but its what my cousin said and it makes pretty good sense to me.

  • He's right.

  • @xfarmerboy21x

    thats exactly what I said...

now if your talking 351R code motor then that one will spank all 96 and older trucks hands down

    fyi

thats the one they put in the lightnings

    and dabquibij

the 96 had mass air so you better smoke him by at least 1 truck length if not by two

  • I've had my factory '96 short bed f150 302 doing about 110 mph and smoked my buddies '95 f150 shortbed 351.

  • you can see the gas gage move hahaha

  • Unfortunately my 98 Olds Intrigue does the same thing. But that's not as bad as my uncles Mercedes SLK AMG. He said that if you wait at a stop light you can watch the needle move. Now that's shitty mileage

  • wow that things SUCKS!

  • @cj7755 i think thats due to the fuel being tossed around in the tank..it messes with the reading...unless he just gets shitty gas mileage lol

  • had a 95 bronco same engine. the thing was a torque monster! though your f150 seemed a bit quicker to accelerate

  • haha nice. watch the gas gage go down alittle bit!

  • **BRAKE CHECK EEERRRCCCHHHHHHH!!!!!!!** Lmao.

  • These Fords seem to run forever, which is good because I'm in no hurry to get rid of mine.

  • u sure it aint a 250 with a 7.5l 460 in it just checkin

  • yeah im sure just a stock 95 f150 with the 5.8 i actualy sold the truck now. sold it with 203,000 on it and its still goin strong

  • That's Ford for ya, my man.

  • hell yeah thats a ford for ya'....bought my 96 psd with 315xxx miles on it...just rolled over 400LOL still runs like a top!!!use her to pull a 35 foot goose with a d4 dozer on it...talk about a heave load way more than its rated for towing...but goin up hills its like she seems to be laughing at me..as if to say "is this all you want me to pull??." "shit i can tug this around all day"!!!!!!!!!!

    hahaha

    i love my truck!!

FORD ALL DAY EVERY DAY BABY!!!!!!

oh and i have replace a thing yet!!

  • @minib88 well thats proof that those dipshits that say ford dont last past 100,000 are wrong

  • @minib88 i have the 95 f150 5.8 but i dont have all the gauges

  • these trucks with 5.8's are fast for what they are the 460's are slightly slower due to the almost 200-300lb diff between them

  • alot of yall are saying your check engine lights are on my 95 had that too but it just turned out too be the trani's speed sensor. and that seems to be a common prob for this era

  • damn not even 5000 rpms? my 302 runs up to 5k befor it shifts into 2nd, and my gauge is actually showing 300rpms less than what it actually is, and im running 35 inch tires... play with your timing advance, you'll get more power

  • i sold the truck actualy... i got a 04 f150 now. just added edge evolution kit to it... course i also just smashed it up yesterday now i wish i kept my 95

  • @degenerate727 yikes man, 5,000 means an unhealthy tranny when laying on it, you should check your tourque converotr or bands.

  • @degenerate727 The 5.8 351w is not a rev liking engine. Its a low RPM power house, unlike the 5.0 302. The 302 is a revver, and liked to go to 5k+ rpms. Thats why a lot of mustang guys perfer it. The 302 is a sporty engine, the 351 is a workhorse. Need the lower power band

  • my dads got a 1995 f150 with like 270,000 miles on it, still runs like its new

  • i just got an 86 f-150 302 with 125,000 miles on it she is a badass truck i love it.

  • I drive my dad's 1992 and it only has 61,000 on it! Pretty bad gas mileage and get this, the thing that measures the remaining fuel in the front tank no longer works, so it always shows empty. I have to switch the tanks over when I feel the fuel is about to run out. If I'm at a red light it stalls. Other than that, it's a fun vehicle to mess around in (The big engine and rear wheel drive isn't something you see in newer cars), but I'm getting tired of it as a daily means of transportation.

  • i got a 96 w a 5.0 in it .. 225000 that thing still runs like a beast. lol. and my check engine light on as well hahah

  • I've got a 95' extended cab 4x4 176k miles with the 302 love everything about it but the gas mileage toughest engine of all time.

  • nice vid, these are great engines, i had a 85 f250 with a 351w carbed, and had some aftermarket stuff, cam, heads and headers and it would pull anything and spun em in whatever gear i chose but the 7 mpg had ta go

  • I've got a '95 F150 w/302 & 126K, my check engine light is on too. Damn good running truck!

  • Nice. Quite a bit faster than my 93 with a 5.0 and 200,000 miles. lol your check engine light is on

  • lol yeah.... with that truck ive held it wide open for about 11miles n used up over 1/8th of a tank...that thing sucks the gas. but power up the ass, i just bought a 2004 f150 and have this 1 parked, but this one would smoke the 04

  • if pop it out of over drive it gets to 90mph a lot quicker my 1996 has its check engine light on to hehe

  • I hope mine will run that long mine is an 89 with a 351 and only has 89000 on it

  • delive you me it will

  • those things shift slooooww

  • i like.. check out the videos of my grandpas. he has a bunch of shit done to his though.

  • i have a 93 5.0 f150 172000mi, love it to death, except the gas mileage..

lmao, my check engine lights on too, been on for some 30k miles.

your tranny is def shifting better than mine..

  • looks exactly the same as my 4.9 1992 f150. except dash but speed wise yeh lol nice, kool though i got up to 105 in my truck till the needle was tickin idk how but yeh lol

  • They'll go faster than that, too. He just let out. I have an 86 with the 302 EFI, NP435 4-speed with low. I've been up to around 110-115mph in it, which = 4100RPM in 4th gear. I coulda went a little more, I'm sure.

  • CHECK UR ENGINE!!!!!!!!!!LOL

  • shit my old rusty 94 f150 bone stock just glasspacks accelerates so mush faster than that

  • well that dont mean much. depends if its 2wd or 4wd, extended cab or standard cab. and if it has over 190,000 on it....idc how fast it is i know it still out pulls the new silverados and hemi's in the truck pulls for the last 3 summers. not like i drag the truck lol

  • 4wd 5.0l standard cab 109,000

  • well mines extended cab with 198,000 miles right now. but also at about the 70-75mph mark i let out alil cuz i met a car u can hear it when i get back into it. but its cool, i did this for fun didnt think so many ppl would respond to this video lol.

  • nice well i bet youre happy...i would put some videos on here myself when i get a camera...but my '97 5.4 std cab long bed 4x4 is a bit faster than that...8.59 0-60 is my best time, although i do have mods (k&n fipk ii, flowmaster delta 40 catback, edge evolution programmer on level 3)...yeah its a bit, but i think it only improved my time a little over a second from stock.

  • i have a 1995 f-150 XLT with the 5.0L an i have got it up to 103mph with stock everything.

Ohh an about this video...I like how the check engine lights on...lol Mine never turns off =P

  • Ohh also it has the 401 ci engine..not the 351...an I saw yur gas gauge move =P

  • I have the exact same truck. from what i can see that is. right now with the cold weather i am getting 9.2 miles to the gallon. not the greatest. does anyone know what the top speed is. the speedometer only goes to 85...

  • looks like the top is 90-95

  • is the truck stock ?

  • other then the cobbed up strait pipes yes its stock.

  • ya my grandpa has a 95 f150 with the 5.8 and he has always had problems with his gauge. u can actually see it move but then it will go back

  • did u see how fast ur gas guage moved

  • lol holy crap it actualy did move...but yeah ive used up over 1/4 tank in 10miles on the freeway b4...but that was 10miles of havin spedo burried...

  • wow haha ya a 351 would do that

im getting an 88 with a straight 6

i hope they get good milage

  • yeah my uncles got a 92 with the 6 in it..it gets way better milage so i dont think u have to worry, but if i dont have it to the floor best ive got with this is 16 hwy...in town im lucky for 10

  • i drive an F-250 7.3 D.I adn the gass gauge moved because they had reall shitty gauges sensor things in the fuel tanks its sjtu teh fuel sloshign around because i watch my fuel move around as i change terrain

  • oh wow 16 aint bad

but 10 is horrible but thats a pretty big engine

  • Moves out pretty well 'til you hit around 65-70. I love bottoming out those wimpy little 80-85mph speedos. lol My '91 Nite just turned over 260K on the stock 302 and still moves out like the day it came from the factory. Probably better since its been punched out so much! No carbon build up in my motor!!! lol

  • ya wierd. had a 95 extended cab shortbox. ran 17.1 @ 83. always shifted at 5000 by itself. lol. sure feels fast your first drag run

  • it's shifting real low on the rpms, I can get my 351 to run to about 4650 before it'll shift (it's mated to an E4OD in a Bronco) You gotta love the way they sound... may not be the fastest things on earth, but they pull from a start and tow like mad!

  • Your dreaming if you were doing a burnout in that video!!

  • the only burnout is when i took off not like i tried to do a brake stand or nething was doing a speed run....but it sqeeled so i put it in the title. was jus takin off from dead stop.

  • My stock '93 with the 351 and E4OD will shift at about 4200 if you pin the pedal. The speedo on these trucks doesn't go high enough...only 85mph. Have to bring a GPS for any speed runs.

  • the truck has a stall converter in it...aka shift kit. im pretty sure thats why it came that way from the factory its a conversion truck has factory air bags as well.

  • stall converter and shift kit are two entirely different things

  • lol did u see ur gas guage

  • I noticed you got it to 4500RPM at the top of first gear. That's pretty impressive. Did you have it to the floor when you did that? My E40D seems to want to shift at about 3200 max.

  • If you're doing a high speed run like he was then you probably want the overdrive on you're supposed to turn that off for driving at consistently low speeds or going down hills.

  • overdrive gives you FOUR (4) gears, Overdrive BEING 4th gear. Shutting OD off greatly decreases your top speed.

  • i have 351 check my video :) it same thing

  • what is this a lighting(5.8)

  • no this is the factory 5.8L i wish i had a lighting motor then itd really have some balls!!!

  • mines a 302 but i so much want a 351.

  • yeah the 351 im kinda suprised how much power it has. ive had it in truck pulls 3years in a row. and i took 3rd again this year outta 18 trucks n there were new silverados and some f250s in there. the 351 definetly has power

  • my dad had a 77 ltd that had a 351 w man that thing still was strong with 300,000.miss that engine

  • did u take off the overdrive

  • no the overdrive was on. why? would it have been better if it was left off?

  • its a bit better if u took off the overdrive so the engine wont have to it by its self thats wut i do then when u got some speed turn on the overdrive on cuz if u dont u might over heat the engine

  • ok will have to try that. thanks.

  • NO dont turn off overdrive! thats shutting off 4th gear, if you rev to high in 3rd gear, you can blow your engine... the 302 can handle high reving cause it has a much shorter stroke

  • overdrive gives u 3 gears pretty much, so no youll blow ur engine, nice truck though lol i got a 92 f-150 wih a 4.9 str8 6, ur das is excctly lyk mine but i aint got a tachomeneter inside the dash i put my own on.

  • yeah i havent done that lol. But thanks for the warning.

  • The time 0-60 is 10:23 Slow .....

  • I have a F-150 Flareside and also have strait pipes, and the same 351 engine

  • Is this a diesel truck?

  • no its 5.8L gas engine

  • Sounds great. Looks like your 0-60 time is 7.5-8 seconds...pretty damn good

  • Awesome dude sounds awesome too!

  • nice...sounds like you have a cold air intake on it. Check out the 94 it's the same as the 95 just w/ pipes

  • nope, its all stock under the hood. just strait pipes.
