This may be quibbling, but this would more accurately be described as a Gandalf impression.

Ian McKellen actually speaks a bit higher and less precisely when he's not doing the Gandalf voice. He changed his enunciation and pitch for the role. However, this is actually less Gandalf-y than your earlier impressions, so perhaps in time it will be a true Sir Ian impression. Keep up the good work!
