I am super curious to know how well this system responds to faster movements. Idea: Put light sensor in each handle. On- regular function, off- Cymbal/Tom. Put it near the thumb?

@eigenstates 10x mate ! i thought about it... I'm trying to keep it "natural" or "similar" to a original drum kit, the next thing instead of light sensors in the handles i though about gyroscope sensors on each hand which will measure the angle of the hand during the hit, and by the angles to manipulate between the different drums...

but 10x for the advice and the equanimity :-)

@mmigdal you could use flex sensors atached to the inner angle of the elbow when streched activate cymbals but gyroscopes are way better nor cheaper amazing keep your incredible work

@redtraceur 10x flex sensors are interesting idea although i quite hate them :-) i started testing it with a gyroscope from WM+ that i hacked :-) it's not so simple...

but 10x 4 the idea !
