I was 12 when I got in to this band and they couldn't have come at a better time in my life when i was really lonely, no friends being the outcast and without their music i would have not have survived its been 5 years now and i am still a dedicated HIM fan there music is still my therapy and i will always LOVE THEM HIM FOR LIFE:-)

HIM is one of those rare bands, artists who can make u feel...feel their joy...feel their sorrow...like it is ur own feeling....their lyrics r incredibly marvelous and their songs did help me to cope with many things in my life and i'm really thankful for that. the first time when i first heard one of HIM's songs , i felt akward. It was like , no one could have such beautiful song. The songs where so real , at first it made me cry. I saw a different part of life.
They never cease to amaze me every time I listen to their music & lyrics. The creativity and talent it takes to produce such beautiful music is mind boggling to say the least!
HIM really does save lives, I have been through a lot just like many other people. I was abused by my step father. And at the time, my view on life was, if things like that happen, then I don't want it. I tried to commit suicide, but during one of my suicidal episodes, I heard HIM's music and suddenly, all my pain just melted away. I am greatful to HIM and the beautiful music that they have. And I will always be greatful. I haven't tried to hurt myself since I knew of HIM. Thank you HIM.

Me too. I posted this part as a response to an old comment made on the vid "A Hero Comes Home". On the 2nd pg. "GuitarOfDarkness" stated Ville is not a hero and is wicked! I posted not for the person who made that comment, but for all H.I.M. fans present and future who may read it. I felt it had to be addressed since people are still viewing it. I'm sick of people bashing H.I.M. saying their music promotes bad things including suicide. People are entitled to know the real H.I.M.!
