nein...die schwarzkopf hat ja wohl eindeutig das falsche stimmfach für agathe... meiner meinung nach. Welitsch hat eine so schöne stimme. leider oft ohne körper. ich mags irgendwie trotzdem
I agree! I totally miss the expression of ' Innigkeit' that I find for example in Schwarzkopf's version, and which for me is the essence of this music.
Ich habe besser den Freischütz Kleibers (1973) .Welche Empfindichkeit , welche Schmerz , welche Wonne , wenn Agathe singt !
Es wird nicht beim Mund gesungen , sondern beim Seele und Herz .
Es scheint , dass es sich um kein Oper handelt , sondern um etwas tiefer im Körper .Nur Musik kann das bedeuten .
Meiner Meinung nach hat Kleiber sein Lebenlangs über den Freischütz überlegt .
Und die Orchester und Musiker sind auch toll .

@marikjan i agree, but someone once described welitsch as volcanic, and when she lets loose at 8:22 it gives you chills.
