what is a decent set up or a computer to have to run this game n how much will it cost if i need to get it there any help my 1st pc mmo

@hfilbeck09 any 3gb quad core cpu , HD6770 or better , 500Watt or better power supply , 4Gb memory, 500gb hard drive , should be able to run on high settings easy.cheapest I could find now to play this on max settings is about 700-900 dollars with monitor included.

@BestMetalMomentsTV Its not my gpu,its the video recorders lack of fps that makes the video lag.i5 could run this game easily with a HD6850 on max graphics.

I just started playing ffxi again and I gotta say they have made drastic improvements.The party system is way better and attack system aswell.I will make more videos until I get bored of ffxiv again.

@FreySilver when launch you couldnt use the party system to look for members your level,you had to enter a name or class.With that being said SE shouldnt have launched FFXIV being at it was,I just got through playing it a few days ago and the server was still empty and I could find a party.It takes forever to level up and with FFXI it was way easier to level up,and it was more enjoyable with more story and quests.

@Sunabe2k10 Oh I see what you mean, I thought you were referring that you can't party at all. Well, despite what you said earlier there have been a lot of improvements and the game in heading in a positive direction now.

@FreySilver well heres a few reasons....1.The fighting system sucks 2.Its boring doing solo 3.When I first got it leveling was to hard and slow and only got main story every 5 levels. I could go on and on....No auction house when I was playing,wasnt a party system either..

I just played this game a few days ago and its still as shitty as it was when I got it.They said they made major improvements but its still shit and I regret buying this game for 50bucks.Wish I would have stayed playing FFXI instead of this game.

@celcees I just tried playing this game again and still...shitty game and boring as hell.Back when I made this video when it first came out all you could do is solo pretty much,we didnt know about a party system and noone ever wanted to party anyways.

Thats not max graphics you should change the Resolution to 1280 ~ 1080 or 1280~720 :/ and get a 290GTX GeForce Graphic card :P

@AsukaOkiba Never said it was max graphics,It says Max Settings...and 290GTX wasnt out when I made this video and I no longer play this game.At the time the 5850 was one of the fastest GPU's out back then.

Well FFXIV is very diff now. And being revamped to the point it will be a "new game" whenever XIV 2.0 is release by the end of 2012. But game is real different now already.

@Effedup ur obviously saynig that because u never played this. The lowest servers have people everywhere. I get sick of people complaining about this game and they haven't even played it. The game is great. I personally think its fine the way it is. Just because some people's CPU can't run it or too stupid to figure the game they go and dumb it down. If this game fails it cause of retarded gamers. NOT SQUARE ENIX.

They shoulda just reskinned FFXI. I mean, that's basically what this game is already.

FFXIV is gonna end up free to play with a cash store within a year. Just like all the other failed MMO's that couldn't grab enough market share to keep going. However, I think it would be a good thing overall. I've heard there are servers where you literally see no more than a dozen people for days at a time. I bet FFXI has more players than that still LOL

This shows you havnt played it at all. Re skinned XI is NOT basicaly what this is. If you were up to date you would know 14 is NOTHING like the above video anymore. Game has a lot of new stuff and much more to come. And auto attack and everything now. They are editing and changing every map in the game, changing the graphics engine, and making it into a whole new very good game. Will have everything. Even jumping and swimming. 14 is already COMPLETELY diff from when it launched.

I played FFXI for 5 years. I still talk to a few people from my LS, and the ones that switched to FFXIV when it came out ALL came right back to FFXI within a few months. S-E thought they could release a pretty, but broken, MMO and all the FFXI subscribers would switch anyway. They were mistaken.

He threw his lance at me I think. The mobs in this game are way to overpowerful they can hit you for 10k+dmg when u have 1200hp.I stopd playing it cuz it sucks.

@Sunabe2k10 Bad as this game was that's kinda your problem about soloing everything gotta go out make friends and you level up faster with party's that's how I was for my first 2 weeks then made some friends.
