I am amazed they ever put that up. That "study" is so flawed. All it demonstrates is there are more white people than black. Each culture & race has features it considers attractive & valued. The culture with the most number of people will obviously get the most votes.
I don't understand why the majority of Africans are angry @ the study. 1st of all it was scientifically done w/ proof (not a personal prefrence), 2nd notice the title it says "Black women less attractive" therefore it's not saying that all Black women are ugly is just the majority or compared w/ most races, 3rd & finally the scientist never states his personal preference. I know that he most likely won't be w/ a Black women but if he finds 1 that is attractive to him he'd probably get with her!

He had a few answers about whether or not the administrators of questions for a study completely unrelated to the study of attractiveness thought that their tests subjects were attractive.
As any survivor of Psych 101 can tell you such questions in this context are asked to gauge the...
..person's overall feeling about the test subject, meaning that that subject's actual attractiveness may well have little to do with the administrator's recorded perception

I actually agree with the scientific study it's pretty accurate because I personally never found myself attractive to African American females & I don't think they're attractive either for the most part.. I'm not saying that all African American girls are ugly because that's not true but the majority are. =/

As a Caucasian male I can say that 95% of black women are, without any doubt, looking very unattractive to other races, man-like, monkey-like and not because I personally have something against them neither I'm saying this because of some study but I'm making a statement from a global aesthetic point of view. 5% of the "black female" population, who look gorgeous, are actually not even 50% black, they are usually a mixture of different races, predominantly, with a strong Caucasian racial factor.

@kuz789ayi There's an old saying in my country (Dominican Republic) that says that people only throw stones to the trees that bear fruit. Black women have some kind of natural grace and exude self confidence when they walk. This cannot be achieved with cosmetics or plastic surgery, it comes from the inside. White women and other races don't have that spark, and they deteriorate a lot when they age. Black women age gracefully and their skin barely wrinkle. White women wrinkle up like raisins.

Evolutionary Psychology is at best taken with a very large grain of salt by the science community, but even among evolutionary psychologists themselves Mr. Kanazawa's work is questionable. He seems to publish with an eye towards sensationalism rather than science.
The fact that published media is said to contain "scientific proof" does not automatically make it either science, truth or valid. This "work" was neither.

And I also think that things are never so black/white (no pun intended) as you make it out to be, just because some of X's features are less attractive, does not mean all X's features are unattractive, or equally unattractive for that matter.
American Black women are a good example of the extreme. In this case, it is also a percieved attitude that men globally find unattractive.

1st, as a white, male, when I look at black women I feel that they are the most beautiful women around. The top 4 women in my life have been black. Ironically, when I was with some German women in 80, showed them Oakland, they saw black women, and said 'Hubsch' meaning attractive. I wonder if the study is really more a reflection by men of other races that black women are less accessible to them, though they are more now than before, and this is why this was stated.

As a Caucasian male I can say that 95% of black women are, without any doubt, looking very unattractive to other races, man-like, monkey-like and not because I personally have something against them neither I'm saying this because of some study but I'm making a statement from a global aesthetic point of view. 5% of the "black female" population, who look gorgeous, are actually not even 50% black, they are usually a mixture of different races, predominantly, with a strong Caucasian racial factor.

Black women have some kind of natural grace and exude self confidence when they walk. This cannot be achieved with cosmetics or plastic surgery, it comes from the inside. Evolutionary Psychology is at best taken with a very large grain of salt by the science community, but even among evolutionary psychologists themselves Mr. Kanazawa's work is questionable. He seems to publish with an eye towards sensationalism rather than science.

1st, as a white, male, when I look at black women I feel that they are the most beautiful women around. The top 4 women in my life have been black. Ironically, when I was with some German women in 80, showed them Oakland, they saw black women, and said 'Hubsch' meaning attractive. I wonder if the study is really more a reflection by men of other races that black women are less accessible to them, though they are more now than before, and this is why this was stated.

@officers19 I took a degree in Black Studies---actually, from an elite college. I know about how the Cultural-Marxists try to account for black poverty. But then, the objective of the cult-marxists is to remove personal responsibility and have the Negroes (and other minorities) blame the "system" instead of people improving their, above all, moral condition. The cult-marxists simply wish to keep the negroes on the plantation thru paternalism and not having men step up.

@officers19 I worked in community service in the black ghetto. I currently work with largely black African immigrants now. These kids, whose parents came from famine and war torn countries, i assure you don't behave like our American negroes. The difference being in that one group of people emphasize work, manners, and morality, and the other does not... and you can take a wild guess which group does not. The problem ain't poverty---the problem is MORALITY.

I would guess that women across all races living below the poverty line have higher pregnancy rates than those living above it because their access to contraceptives is limited by the inability to purchase such items on a regular basis. Poor people do not revel in being poor. If you're born into the middle class, it requires less effort to stay in the middle class. Conversely, if you're born into poverty...

@swarthmoor1 I don't believe that African Americans have sex more than people of other races do. A woman who is having sex for the first time has the same chance of getting pregnant as a woman who has had sex 99 times before, and is having sex for the 100th time. Frequent UNPROTECTED sex will increase your chances of becoming pregnant. I would argue that high pregnancy rates, drug use, and crime stem from poverty, not moral deficiency.

@officers19 Just compare the videos here on YT. How many "black themed" videos here aren't concerned with "relationships," sex, or licentious music? Compare that to the Asian-American themed videos. You know---and i know that our Negroes interests are limited to about 4-5 subjects (sports, music, sex). As for poverty, what you are saying makes little sense. Negroes do drugs b/c they are poor? No they do drugs b/c they have low morals (and lack intelligence) given the drug laws

The Negroes fornicate because they are of a low moral class---and the fact that they fornicate and don't use birth control indicates that they are an impulsive group wanting in intelligence. @swarthmoor1 The idea of who/what is universally attractive does not interest me at all, but the concept itself is a bit of an oxymoron. Attractiveness is a perception that is linked with the repetition of associated ideas. That said, a survey of pick the prettiest would be superficial at best if it did not include a study of the environment of each participant and how beauty is defined in his/her specific location.

In virtually EVERY negative social category, our Negroes are at the top and EVERY positive category our Negroes are at the bottom. This isn't the media just "giving black people a bad name." We have a sub-"culture" (if you dare to call it that) that is largely a burden on the society, and things are going to gt a whole lot worse as the economy dries up and the only purpose our Negroes will serve is filling up the privatized prison system. The Negroes have a choice: either change their culture/values (like i did, and the black men i associate with) or perish.
