  • You have a lovely family! Wonderful video

  • your nephews are adorable!!!

  • Your nephew, both old and new, is absolutely adorable and your mum makes me laugh. (In a good way! :)

  • Agent Cody Banks!! :)

  • Proof that you're actually Mexican! :P

    this was super cute.

  • This was a really enjoyable video to watch. Family is so important, and bilingualism is something I wish I were brought up with. I have Mexican and Puetro Rican family members by my brothers' marriages. I always find the accents beautiful.

  • Mandarinas clementinas ¡ñam!

  • Oh my gosh, such a cute little baby! And your other nephew is adorable, too.

  • nice wonkly fringe)

  • This video makes a lot clear for me. You know, I've been subscribed to you for many years now. Almost since you started out in, what was it, 2006 I think. Never knew your mum was Spanish (or Mexican). It explains your somewhat Spanish sounding username.

This is an awesome series of videos. A real joy to follow.

  • what about our bets? how much did brand new nephew weigh?

  • I didn't know you spoke Spanish! Me too.

You should do more videos about that.

  • throws up at the mere mention of agent cody banks and frankie muniz. worst movie and actor ever!

  • i love the famer's market in that square. get the garlic bread dip!

  • @j0ames HEY STRANGER

  • At 02:28 and 03:05 .... Rosianna with baby ..* one sighs and drifts into marital bliss reverie*.

  • Aww i loved this video. It was so nice. Your mum is lovely, she reminds me of my friend's (greek) γιαγιά. ^_^

  • I had no idea you were bi-lingual and your mum was Mexican! I suppose Rojas should have been a little clue there :P Congratulations to your sister and her gorgeous son :) I loved this video, as I loved all your videos and I'll be very sad when NYR is over, I love these daily ones! (P.S. Agent Cody Banks is THE BEST! Oh Frankie Muniz *swoon*)

  • I love this video! New baby is adorable! My baby cousin has his first birthday party this weekend. I can't believe it. They are supposed to stay little forever.

  • my neice is 6 months and I dont like imagining her when shes big but shes already so smart and I love her SHO MUCH I want to eat her :3

  • Your nails are the same color as the cover of TFIOS!!

  • Rossiana your soo pretty, i love your videos, please dont stop making loads after January :D

  • That was awesome! I would encourage you to do a video entirely in Spanish, it would be cool. (With subtitles, I can't speak Spanish)

  • Your mum is adorable. :)

  • your mum is spanish?

  • I love The Lion and Unicorn! My mum used to take me there all the time when I was little.

  • oh my darling, oh my darling, oh my da-a-a-arling clementine

  • He is so cute! It is amazing how fast babies and young children learn, and how quickly they become mini adults.

    Congratulations.

  • Your mum has a beautiful accent :D Congrats on your renewed auntyship! This was a really fun video to watch :D

  • I speak English and Dutch fluently, and I mix the two languages up as well when I'm at home. My friens also think it strange when I'm on the lhone to my mum in English, and I'll just drop in a Dutch word here and there xD

  • I do the same thing when I go home and am being lazy. I'll speak English when I should probably be speaking more Arabic. :-p But anyway, congratulations to your sister for the new addition to the family.

  • Lovely family!!

  • Awww. Congratulations to your sister and your whole family. Welcome to the world, new nephew of Rosiana.

  • When I was little I had a filipino accent mixed with a valley girl California accent, AND I mixed up english and tagalog all the time! I still do -.-

  • please make more videos like this!

  • @cederhr yessss! I completely agree! Rosi is seems so comfortable with being herself and has a great view on life. She's brilliant and she inspires me too!

  • Now I understand the 'rojas'..!

  • No sabia que tu hablas espanol Rosi! lol Would love to hear about your family's culture and how it impacted you growing up.

  • wow... You're very brave for offering yourself so freely to the world. I don't know if I could do an insight quite so in depth. On top of that, I always admire your videos, and I think you're quite the amazing young woman. You seem to have things so settled and I really admire the way you're able to share things freely, add your opinions and be almost fearless. It's an inspiration to watch you daily and see all the little things that make you who you are.

  • It's so weird - I know that you're Mexican, and yet I never imagined that your home life would be so similar to my Russian family's bicultural/bilingual existence! Except I bet that my mother would never agree to speak English for the camera, despite being able to do so quite well.

  • This video just warms my heart! What a lovely family you have!

  • I enjoy so many different parts about your videos, from the words you use to just seeing your face every day. You're doing a great job

  • I don't really know what I mean by that but just take away from it a general vibe of omg

  • HE'S SO TINY! HE'S LIKE A LITTLE HUMAN OLIVE!

  • What a lovely (growing) family you have! The ideal situation for a Mexican grandmom: having her family all together and enjoying each other!

I relate to so much in this video. Your mom's Spanish (which is beautiful, by the way), watching your nephew grow (same here), using the same tea bag multiple times. One question: does your family (or you yourself) ever make cinnamon tea? I think it's a bit of a Christmas/winter thing in the Mexican culture.

  • Cool! I didn't know you were part Latina lol :) I am too! I recently began watching your videos and I like listening to your point of view on things. You got a good head on your shoulders missy! :)

  • Where was that fountain, it looks so lovely?!

  • Thank you to you and yours for sharing your day with the t'internet audience.

  • not gonna lie Rosianna my dear, we'd make exceptional best friends.

  • My grandmother died yesterday. I can't articulate it exactly, but there is something very comforting about watching you with your nephew and learning that he came into the world just as my nanny was going out.

  • Awww Rosianna your nephew is so cute :D x

  • "Today was a good day" - clearly shows Rosianna is into her early 1990s American West Coast rap.

  • How many cups of tea do you drink a day? =]

  • I bought my first 'big girl' book from that book shop :') (not waterstones, the other one)

  • Tienes que hacer un video en español! :D

  • Awww, this was sweet. Congratulations to your family and welcome to your new nephew!

Oh, and re: teabags - Pret A Manger tea comes in little mesh bags, which means my grandma has been known to use it for up to 10 additional cups.

  • Congratulations to your sister and the babydaddy! 'Feel every word' - I recognise that tagline, because I was giggling at it on a receipt earlier... it sounds like they were inspired by Mills&Boon or similar. :p

  • My grandmother was 36 when she became a grandmother. Teehee! She became a great grand mother when she was 59.

  • I'm sure you've deleted videos since your first upload, Rosianna, but according to your video count, this is your PI VIDEO! (314) YAAAAY... although I guess you are more of an English person than a math person but- but still.

  • The Hungry Bum...In Your Pants!

  • The fringe was a great idea. It looks awesome on you. Your family seems lovely. I wish all the happiness in the world to you and your new nephew.

  • "Look how long my hair is, it's so hairy" - Love it Rosianna!

  • I love your mother and family. They seem so nice.

  • that guy from the book shop! His voice was so soothing and convincing. I'd buy anything in there haha

  • Aww he is so so lovely! I get really broody whenever I see babies :P

  • Favorite video yet, methinks! I always appreciate hearing you discuss things and share bits of your life wit us, but this felt particularly special! Thank you, Rosianna!

  • It's so strange to be reminded that you're part Mexican and to hear your mother. You always seem so English (speaking as a British person, not a patronising American "Oh, you're sooo British!")

  • Your nephew looks so precious!! Congrats to you and your family :)

  • you are spanish?? I had no idea!! also, who is that hunk of a man at 2:47??

  • It took me a while to realise why you -weren't- speaking Spanish after you said that you're lazy sometimes and speak english. I was on the edge of my seat, flexing my GSCE Spanish muscles! Eventually it did pop into my head that you were speaking English for us, too.

  • Random questions (I'm really into second language acquisition!): Would you say you feel more comfortable in either English or Spanish? And is there one you think in more often? Do you consciously switch between thinking in the two? I'm a bit of a foreign language/multilingualism nerd, so I find these things fascinating!

  • you are spanish?? I had no idea!! also, who is that hunk of a man at 2:47??

  • The thing I learned from this video is that Americans don't say "clementine" like you do.

  • Fantastic video Rosianna :D Your new nephew is beautiful- both nephews are ! :D x

  • TFiOS! Hooray :) I'm reading it at the moment, soo good, I'm up to chapter ten, I got it the other day and I just can't put it down, love it! Also, I'm currently learning Spanish with a friend on Skype :P So erm, hola, soy Ryan Murphy, como estas..? Hmm, that's not right... is it..?

  • No one understood what I meant when, upon seeing a picture of my cousin's daughter at around a year old (not having seen her since she was 2 months old) I said 'I can't believe she's a proper little person now!'. I think you expressed it better than me =P

  • Beautiful baby, happy and shy.

  • Rosiana, could you make a video talking about your experiences being brought up bilingual, how much mexican culture was a part of your life then and now? And Spanish language? I'm a languages student and fascinated by child language acquisition, Estare muy interesada saber de tus experiencias, un abrazo! And congratulations to your sister and her beautiful baby boy!

  • @arightoldkneesup I know you meant this for Rosi, but I'm bilingual German and English if that interests you :)

  • It's a shame you weren't allowed to film by that fountain. Or were you? It looked like a public place :o

  • Why weren't you allowed to be filming there?

  • @plickaplicka7 it has a gate on either side, so technically it's private, regardless of the fact that there's a regular market there each weekend day or that the gates are pretty much always open except on, you know, Sundays.

  • 1:46 Aww! I love people who buy books for young children on their birthday... :)

  • What a lovely video :) I love Days-In-The-Life.

  • That 'passer by' has to be the best book recommendation I've heard in a while.

  • @Charlemange9 ikr? Amazing.

  • I spent most of my day chasing my nephew round the house.

    Nephews are tiring imo.

  • @Ironballs69 yes but you get to give them back at the end of the day!

  • @missxrojas I'm certainly glad about that part!

It's nice to have an excuse to play with building blocks and toy cars again though :)

  • Tea tea tea! This video was the best of the NYR one's so far. Lucky to be able to document a day with the family and not a boring studious day.

  • your new nephew is precious! (You didn't win your bet, did you?)

  • This was really nice, just looking into your life for a day! It was quite different from many of your other videos, but I cant quite put my finger on the difference.

Next week I'm working in a bookshop for instead of beeing at school. I am very excited about it, do you as a bookseller have any advice for me?

  • @PsykoDay It's great fun, but just be sure to listen in when the booksellers give recommendations, I still learn loads from my colleagues and from the customers' reactions. Just pay a lot of attention constantly, basically!

  • I love your fringe Rosi!

  • You should have some ham with those green eggs.

  • @kurtmcfried i hope you know she's vegetarian

  • @kurtmcfried yh bad day to be a vegetarian, missed the boat there.

  • Is there a sane person on this planet that doesn't like clementines?

  • ooh the feeling of seeing your family

  • Love this!
