I thought this was the best scene in the movie. I'm an American and spent some time in the Middle East. Despite at least somewhat understanding both sides, I still think the whole conflict is crazy. Sorry, not trying to be insensitive. But seriously, it amazes me how this conflict has been going on for centuries with no end in sight. All this entitlement talk, etc. Crazy. Have fun killing each other there, if you really feel it's all that important, I guess.

Is it wrong that I agree with the Palestinian here? Your country IS everything. If I - as an Englishman - had my nation robbed from me, I would do anything to get it back. It's rare that views so close to my heart should come out of the mouth of someone I see as representing a bad element in the Arab world.

Israel didn't steal any land, British owned Palestine and the UN approved giving it to the Jews. Many muslims (ex-palestinians) live in Israel in peace. Only antisemitic islamists complain about it and starting creating a ghetto on their own. The wall of Isreal is made to avoid Palestinians to enter, not Israelies to fleed. Palestinians attack civilians, Israel army retaliate on fighters, who's the terrorist ? Certainly not Israel. They won wars, gained territory, get over it!

@toocoolforu Yes, you say so much but I can watch hundreds of videos on YouTube of Palestinian Children shot. Just like everyone cried over Jessica Lynch but not the other black women caught with her(yes she was part of a group). The same way the value of a life is relative to its origin.

What the law states is not the point of this conversation in the movie. Its about how when you mistreat people in this way, they will react.

And more often that not, you won't like their reaction.

@yourkidkabaap Israel citizens and gov don't want children to get shot, it's clearly a crazy soldier work or collateral damage. What would Israel gain to kill children ? This is very sad when an innocent child dies. The Hamas however target citizens, that's the main difference. A lot of ex palestinian are now proud israeli citizens. It's not western's fault if the UN n Israel purchased their land, either by vote, or by force when they attacked israel. Of course this situation must chance though.

Im from India, where there is this big fight over Kashmir which results in attacks regularly. And the Kashmiris, just like this guy, only want a place to call their own.
