@JZfox42 we do have a lot of our members serving in different services including army and police whislt 80% of the club members also shoot real weapons and have their own...

on a different note most of them are metal and these pea shooter you call make up a sport whilst with real fire arms, i dont think you can do that without killing someone that is.

@airsoftmalta cool. it's just strikes me as kind of bizzare that people would put so much time (and money) into what is a basically a watered down version of real combat. I get paid to engage in real firefights, and I can safely say it's way more exiting, and rewarding than airsoft. but, I wont judge ya. it's good your doing something you enjoy, that's the democracy I fight for right :)

@JZfox42 well must of us use it for training purposes, best why to learn from your mistakes is taking a hit from a bb 6mm not from a 7.62 ;). others just use it as a social place or as a stress relief. not all members spend a lot of money, usually depends, the most equipped usually are those like me that use it for training or becuase they are part of some service

i dont like particular sports so its kind of the same reasoning, everyone practices what they like as far as they enjoy it :)

@jason000666000: better have a requirement of a Lic B rather than no airsoft at all like in some countries, it's the country law, if you don't like to get such a license you can't play legally in this country

and not all countries are like the USA were everyone can go and buy a gun...

apart from the need for an airsoft gun, what other gear would be needed to start off? I have a licence for target shooter b what airsoft gun would you suggest for the type of games played in malta? very good photos.

basic gear is all you need safety glasses/goggles mainly, the rest is up to you how much safety equipment you wish to use such as gloves, face masks, etc

guns depend on your style of play from my point of view at least, though mainly assault rifles are the most common (M4/HK416 being the most used) though other guns are available + depends on what you look at in a gun i prefer silent and accurate, others prefer noise and fast shooting :)

you need an airgun license actually in order to be able to buy an aeg (airsoft electric gun)

well gl for you, you cant use those at any of our sessions since they are illegal because they are not registered so in case you would like to try out be sure not to get any of those with you or you will be sent home on the spot

well that depends on what you would like to buy, but obviously you need to have the necassary license, etc in order to buy one

not sure if i understood your question, but if you are referring to the team, yes we are all MTAC, MTAC is the main club and then we use squads in order to be better organized and be faster when setting skirmishes
