I love how in every video he brags about how big Fritz is xD. Enough already! We can see hes big, and you've already told us in every single video that he is big.
My last CAO lived to be 12, 5 years old, we had to but him to sleep this winter... now we have a new one, hes about 3,5 month old... ill be adding some videos soon
Come on. It's just a statisical fact - larger dogs die sooner than medium and smaller dogs. period. I had the fortune with my 66kg mastiff that lived to be 12years and ten months, but they rarely see eleven years of age. They average 6-8years. Any dog reaching 85-90kg can expect that.
Smaller Ovcharkas will of course live longer then big Ovtjarkas. My Ovcharka is full grown at 51kg and twice as agile as a 40kg german shepherd, so I have reasonably high hopes for him.
@ovcharkasuk It's a Caucasian Ovcharka. I had videos with too much off my chatter on them =), never uploaded them... I see if I can find them and replace the sound...
@ovcharkasuk Make sure you make some videos :) I would have bought bens last female but there was a gorgeous little akita pup who chose me. Where are you importing himfrom?
@ovcharkasuk I will post a video later, she is called sassy and is pinto brown and white. Are you importing a little pup or a full grown male? As there is a kennel in cyprus with some lovely dogs
do you use them as guard dogs or just as loving pets?

Not really true, tibetan mastiffs can live between 15 and 20 years as long as they are of chinese and not a western bloodline

i had the same dog but he was bigger than urs ;) he was 2,5 meters tall if he gets up!!!!!!!!!!!!! this one is huge but not as i had years ago
