We had a blast, Chattanooga is a nice city to visit, I really enjoyed it. Yeah, I did, I dropped about 30lbs. I was getting unhealthy, my sugar and blood pressure were elevated, my numbers are much better now.
oh cool I'm glad you had a chance to visit one of the battlefields! I wasn't able to go, and my great great great grandfather & his brothers fought in a few nearby battles. (The Battle of Tunnel Hill was one I am sure of)
Yes, Lookout Mountain was the "Battle above the Clouds" we visited Point Park on the top of the mountain. The entrance to the park was designed by the Army Corps of Engineers, it's a Corps Castle, like the Corp's insignia, pretty cool.
I've been to 3 starting with the one in Chicago in 2007, then Minnneapolis in 2008, and Chattanooga this year. I am thinking that I may go to the one in New York for next year's adventure, but I dunno. I may make SouthTube my yearly trip, the folks there are so nice and Lemonette is a wonderful hostess. Hope to see you again at one of them.
That was a lot of walking. No wonder your daughter said no more walking. LOL That was a lot of site seeing. I think the train looked cool. Great video and lots more memories.
We walked alot, it was great exercise but no need to overdo it. It's a good thing I took an extra day off work to rest after I returned home, I needed it.
