see even tho there are great songs listed here, you can tll a million miles off, its not the beatles, and if this were a Beatles album it would be their worst ever. What those 4 guys did for each other was, they kept themselves in check.
Alone (apart from some great songs) they never could produce the magic.
Imagine is John Lennon's song, not of The Beatles...if you want to pass sentence, better research before getting a video like that .... and the 4 songs together for separate should not be called Imagine hahaha .... but otherwise ...
@raquelmishe The beginnings of Imagine can be heard on the bonus disc for the Let It Be Naked album where John can be heard playing with the intro and also singing Child Of Nature which is the beginnings of Jealous Guy so it can be said that it is partly a Beatles song,
My picks for a late 1970 "unreleased" Beatles album: 1. Instant Karma - John 2. My Sweet Lord - George 3. Teddy Boy - Paul 4. Well Well Well - John 5. What Is Life - George 6. Junk - Paul 7. Wah-Wah - George 8. Love - John 9. Working Class Hero - John 10. Maybe I'm Amazed - Paul 11. Sentimental Journey - Ringo 12. Oo You - Paul 13. Isn't It A Pity - George
I would take material from their solo albums in 1970 and make a album as their 14th release and use Ringo's "Coochy Coochy" song as his contribution since he wrote that one. I'd also use George's "All Things Must Pass" demo since it was no so over produced.
After the breakup album. First disc. Maybe I'm Amazed Band on the Run Imagine Instant Karma Give Peace a chance Isn't a Pity Give Me life My Sweet Lord What Is Life Jealous Guy My Love Live and Let Die #9 Dream It Don't come Easy Listen To what The Man Said
@KungaMatata Most of the songs in this comilation (probably, all) were written when they were still The Beatles. So, it's their "last album" - all first solo albums.
@zoyclem "Imagine" has a nice piano with a nice melody, but yeh John saying there's not heaven or hell is a little too much, but the rest of the lyrics in the song are ok.
@beatleman69 Why is that too much to say. think about it. Religion gets in the way of most people's life. Take a look at al the problems in the world because of it.
I'm actually putting together two different 14th albums (both in 1971, at least Pre-Wild Life): One single LP, the other a 4-LP treasure trove in the spirit of All Things Must Pass. Also, that would be one for each Beatle.
Even though Paul wasn't part of it, I refer to this album as by The Ladders. That leaves the door open for listed session musicians, as opposed to the Beatles' usual policy (exception being Billy Preston, of course).
@kaisariani True. The selection is too spread out. Lennon's first album, McCartney's Maybe I'm Amazed LP, Ringo's Country album with It Dont come Easy and All Things Must Pass would be the first great album. Dont you agree?
@kaisariani True. 1970 was the year when the Beatles were playing most of their new material together and eventually did solos even before the official departure as a group.
Great assembly of songs but too long a time frame for a single album. The recordings range from 1970 to 1973. The Beatles were putting out 2 albums/year in the 60s.
I would start with : 1) Oo you 2) Instant Karma 3) Maybe I'm Amazed 4) Isn't it a Pity 5) Imagine 6) Uncle Albert /Admiral Halsey 7) What is Life 8) Well, Well, well 9) All things must pass 10) Cold Turkey 11) Give me Love 12) Every night
I click every day on the Animal Rescue Site and have bought things from them also..........and I have two cats that are old that were rescued when they were babies.....more people should consider doing these things...thanks.
It's a theoretical album to think about what would it have been like if they stayed together. John had a album titled imagine, but the maker just chose that seperately.
NO My Sweet Lord and What is Life? Other than that, Don't Let Me Wait Too Long would be great, if not because that song (and the others from LITMW) were released in 1971, pretty later the date this purpoted album would have been released. I thought I was the only one to love that song.
Every Night Too Many People Teddy Boy Isolation Hold On Love Working Class Hero God I'd Have You Anytime My Sweet Lord Isn't It A Pity Run of the Mill Apple Scruffs I Live for You Art of Dying Early 1970
Where's Instant Karma, Cold Turkey or Uncle Albert? You've also got songs on here from Band On The Run from 73 so how in the hell could this have been their next release? I know this is all in fun but to do it correctly you would have to take all their first solo albums and only pick songs from there.
Most of George's songs from 1970-1971 were Beatles cast-off's that weren't considered good enough for Beatles albums. I thought they were great, but John and Paul didn't.

@crixxxxxxxxx... I think the uploader included two of those three on what he speculated would have been the Beatles' previous album, "All Things Must Pass." They are definitely worthy of having been future songs by the Fab Four.
Great idea 70 - 71 songs Instant Karma Another day Back seat of my car What is life Love is real Working class hero Power to the people My sweet lord It dont come easy Junk Isolation Maybe i'm amazed
Where's all the All Things Must Pass songs, 2 isn't enough(Beware Of Darkness, Let It Down, Let It Roll, Wah,Wah. this "14th" album should be 3 discs really. And where the hell is It Don't Come Easy, one of George's beauts.(and meant to be sang by Ringo!)
Yeah, but sick to think of how even bigger they would have been had they stayed together till 1975 as per the record contract. Imagine, Give Peace a Chance, All things, Band on the run, MaybeAmazed as Beatle songs...

Ah, yes. I did exactly this with the latest solo albums and singles at the time. Each year or so, i'd arrange what i thought the Fabs would best represent a true "Beatles" album. I'd put it on cassette and take it to all the high school parties i went to. Kids thought i was nuts, but i had a blast doing it! Thanks for posting your versions. Nice choices.
Wow! You know, I didn't expect I'd have an emotional reaction to this. Not that I'm crying or anything. But man, you can't help but say what if. But as George said, all things must pass. ...but the music will never die.
It's interesting to do this ... you can see there's connection amongs all those songs... but what I would do is a mix of songs form an album/s relasead in the same year ...
I think the next album would have been 1: Imagine 2:My Sweet Lord 3: Maybe I'm Amazed 4: Photograph 5:Crippled Inside 6: Jet 7: What is Life? 8: All Things Must Pass 9: Oh My Love 10:Wah-Wah 11:Love 12: All Things Must Pass
George Harrison made such a great version of If not for you that the other Beatles would have had to accept it and would have recorder a cover for the first time in a long while
what do you think about: 1. Oo you 2. instant Karma 3. Look At Me 4. Lovely Linda 5. Well Well Well 6. Isn't It A Pitty 7. Junk 8. Man we was lonely 9. Working Class Hero 10. Cold Turkey 11. All Things must Pass 12. Teddy Boy 13. Love 14. Singalong Junk
Online there is this sci-fi writer named Allyn Gibson who put together an album he called Hot As Sun. Here is his track listing Side One: 1. Oo You 2. It Don't Come Easy 3.That Would Be Something 4. Isolation 5. Every Night 6. What Is Life? Side Two: 1. Love 2. I Live For You 3. Valentine Day 4. Well Well Well 5. Apple Scruffs 6. I Found Out 7. Maybe I'm Amazed
I came up with a sequel to Allyn Gibson's that would of come out in 1973. I call it Run of the Mill: Side One: 1. Run of the Mill 2. Mother 3. Mind Games 4. No Words 5. Art of Dying 6. Hi Hi Hi 7. My Love Side Two: 1. Working Class Hero 2. Let Me Roll It 3. Wah-Wah 4. Jealous Guy 5. Singalong Junk 6. Give Peace A Chance
Great Post-Beatles Album: 1 Imagine 2 Maybe I'm Amazed 3 Let Me Roll It 4 Mull of Kintyre 5 Jealous Guy 6 Isolation 7 Band on the Run 8 Jet 9 Oh My Love 11 All Things Must Pass 12 Live and Let Die 13 My Love 14 Just Like Starting Over 15 Good Night Tonight 16 Coming Up
1 Imagine 2 Let It Down 3 Gimme Some Truth 4 Uncle Albert/Admiral Halse 5 Jealous Guy 6 Monkberry Moon Delight 7 I Don't Wanna Be A Soldier Mama 8 Oh Woman, Oh Why 9 Oh My Love 10 I'd Have You Anytime 11 Ram On 12 Hear Me Lord 13 Long Haired Lady 14 Oh Yoko!
Being a beatles album I think that it wouldn't have opened with imagine. The first song would probably be Jet. Think of Back in the USSR, Taxman, Drive My Car, etc.
My list would probably used on the 14th album. these songs because they were written and there are demos during the let it be and abbey road sessions. Photograph wasn't written until 1972. Eat at home is making fun of john and yoko. and jet wasn't written till 1973 and my love was written till 1972.
1. instant karma 2. maybe i'm amazed 3. all things must pass 4. it don't come easy 5. Back off boogaloo 6. teddy boy 7. junk 8. gimme some truth 9. look at me 10. apple scurfs 11. my sweet lord 12. give me love 13. another day 14. what is life 15. isn't it a pity 16. jealous guy
You know, it's the nature of us Beatles fans. So many different songs to choose from, and we all have our different picks. I'm actually watching these videos I put together and thinking that if I did it again, I'd do it differently, maybe put this song instead of that one. But in the end, they're all f'ing awesome so just enjoy it.
@superman11978 - the magic is in the four playing together. These songs sounds great and I could only imagine them...with the Beatles magic, sprinkled over the top
1-Imagine 2-Maybe Im Amazed 3-My Sweet Lord 4-Jealous Guy 5-Instant Karma! 6-What is life 7-My Love 8-Isnt It A Pitty 9-Jet 10-Give Me Love 11-Helen Wheels 12-Power To The People 13-Band On The Run 14-Mother 15-Happy X Mas(War Is Over)
i was just thinking i'd make my own album of this sort, not knowing it was already done. so, thanks for the help, i really agree on a lot of these songs
Nice to know I'm not the only who has made up track listings for the 'next' Beatles album if they'd stayed together. Mine would have had- Imagine Jealous Guy Gimme Some Truth Instant Karma! Maybe I'm Amazed Every Night Another Day Oo-You What Is Life Beware of Darkness It Don't Come Easy
Yeah godd job. But, what about Give peace a chance(credited as Lennon-Mccartney), Cold turkey( lLEnnon intendet it to be a Beatles Single) or Instant Karma! don't forget about It don't come easy or Junk( Beatle song)
Very cool. I made one of these "hypothetical albums" in 2000. I used songs like When We Was Fab with Ringo and George, Beautiful Night (with Paul and Ringo), and any other post Beatles collaborations I could find.
This could have been another blockbuster album

There IS a way to do this ya know....compile both a 1970 and a 1971 "unreleased" Beatles album.
1. Pick solo songs that were originally rehearsed by The Beatles at one point.
2. Pick songs that were early solo singles.
3. Pick songs that you could hear backing vocals from the other Beatles.
4. Instrumentation on solo songs that sounds Beatles-like.
5. Equally showcase each Beatle's different side (heavy, soft, rocker, ballad)
6. Do not just pick personal faves, but think of THEIR favorites.
MattHatter 10 months ago
I would take material from their solo albums in 1970 and make a album as their 14th release and use Ringo's "Coochy Coochy" song as his contribution since he wrote that one. I'd also use George's "All Things Must Pass" demo since it was no so over produced.

Eat at home is making fun of john and yoko. and jet wasn't written till 1973 and my love was written till 1972.

I think George Harrison said that if they remained together their albums would just be a mash up of their solo albums...good job!

Very cool. I made one of these "hypothetical albums" in 2000. I used songs like When We Was Fab with Ringo and George, Beautiful Night (with Paul and Ringo), and any other post Beatles collaborations I could find.
