Not surprised by the gigantic slant here. Nothing nefarious going on. Fine print is still binding even if you don't read it. And yes, people would still click through even if it directly said "would you like to send an email to your senator?" in big flashing letters.

Nothing nefarious going on? This is a system that bribes people to have a partisan email sent in their name to their congress person. And as you may know, a lot of people are bribeable.

That was kind of my point. Bribery isn't really nefarious, its reality. And if you think its only one side doing this, and that its not happening in the capitol building also, you're deluded.

If the companies involved with both sides of this debate (which Maddow barely acknowledges) were to not tell the consumer in any way what they were actually doing, then it could be considered nefarious. As it is, its business as usual.
