  • The reason Ronnie's chest is stronger than most of people in the youtube... These are just part of sets that Ronnie did, and he isn't here to brag, he is here to train.

    A lot of youtuber here shows how much weight they did, like 500x3 or 600x2 even. But they go super exhausted nextday and can't even come to gym for next few weeks.

    Ronnie comes to gym next day and still be able to do heavy ass weight. If Ronnie is to brag his strength on video, he can do 700pds x2 with no bench shirt.

  • Even with steroids it still takes a lot of self determination and hard work to accomplish what he has accomplished. Also the reason why he is doing half reps is because he is obviously working on his pectoralis majors And not his triceps. When you past the half way mark you are using more your triceps then your chest.

  • @Chillarn17 Idk man, pretty sure one becomes better than everyone. For example: Ronnie can do whatever the fuck he wants. He didn't need to get a college degree or spend years working at a dead end job. He just lifted weights, got huge, competed in sports, and now he is famous, rich, and can do whatever he wants.

    Have you ever done it ? At least we do that in Muay Thai training to get explosion with jabs, also after 1:30 minutes doing that you will feel a lot of pain in your lower back.

I am quite sure Ronnie is not just the strongest competitive bodybuilder ever but also one of the strongest man in all the repetitive barbell and dumbbell movements you can find in the gym-not 1 rep max but for reps.

  • idiots, he is doing pretty much half reps, so he's putting alot more tension on his chest and because he isn't locking out at the top the chest is always at work, for maximum growth. Cutting out the upper part of the movement also prevents his tri's from coming in too much. So he def knew what he was doing, and it was working.

    Anyway, Coleman got all my respect for what he has achived.

  • A lot of bodybuilders avoid locking out because it is said to increases the chances of injury, especially when you're using a heavier weight. Also, his grip is much wider than what he would typically use to achieve anywhere near his max for bench. This is to focus the weight on the chest. A closer grip puts more of a focus on the triceps.

  • @niz32iqbal yes they are dickhead, he not a powerlifted, he actually wants to stretch his pecs to make them grow rather than arc his back so much that he doesnt have to move the wieght. notice how far past parallel his elbow goes? he only does the bottom half of the press because that works the pecs the most, the top is mainly your triceps and shoulders, he's a bodybuilder so learn ur your shit properly before your comment

  • @muzimuzi u still use your triceps at the bottom so your strong triceps would still contribute their ability to the press, but the bottom does work the chest "slightly" more and allows you do tax your chest more during a set rather than yoru triceps failing first. and and doin incline press increase the stress on your delts by about 75% compared to about 25% extra stress on the chest, reverse grip flat bench press is better for targeting the upper chest if your wrists let u use the desired width

  • @steflotti105 i see i just took a pause bench in a meeting and got stucked in the third attempt mostly on 90degree , once i was done unstucking when i was near lockout the lockout came easily so i dont know what it means really

  • people who complain about his form dont know shit all about chest training. His form is just fine. IF he trained for power, he could easily surpass mid 600s for a max. Bare in mind a lot of powerlifters use a form that will easily move the weight.
