I got attacked by a Staffie today after I was petting it. But I still have no resentment for the breed as a whole. Dogs are like people; Some can be complicated and depending on how they are raised, aggression can be a problem for some. But this does NOT make them a killer breed. The key is training them early and knowing their limits (which I didn't) so that the Staffie YOU have will be a loveable, friendly pet like most dogs are, not a killer.
My Dad wanted a dog, and went to the local 'Pound'. There was 20 Staffies in there! He chose one and was forcefully talked out of it by many people, including the 'Head' of UK Staffies, or something like that, saying that they are too difficult for an old man to look after. Being stubborn, he got his way anyway .. I was dubious but 'Bindy', whilst not being the prettiest, or the sharpest pencil in the box, has the sweetest nature of any dog I've met. She loves EVERYONE.. evn the rabbit!
ur right ive got a staffie she is soo cute and i hate it when it says on the news that they kill there lies 100% lies they obviously got killed differently and if they try and hurt my staffie i will be there to defend her
i hate it when people say that staffies are horrible, vicous dogs cos they're not! it just cos some stupid people train them to be like that. they are like the sweetest and loveist dogs ever!! xx

Loved the video, hate seeing our breed being so mistreat - in Hartlepool, the nearest rescue centre has a 90% 'stock' of Staffordshire - it breaks my heart...
I've had a staffie before and she was the most gentle dog ever and just got a new staffie pup and again such a good temperament. But when i tell people ive got a staffie they tell me to be careful because they are "dangerous" people dont know the real side to them. Best dogs ever in my opinion. Good video:)
staffies is the best family dog you get!they protect their family to the death..I know my Georgie will! I have such an imence love for my baby george I cant explain it..
My staffie girl bella wouldn't hurt a fly she is so soppy she would rather lick you to bits than bite and every staffie I've met is the same it makes me sick when news and papers say someone has been attacked by a staffie type dog.

I mean, Buster has been attacked by FIVE whippets and didn't bat an eyelid. He was the one that got hurt, my poor boy.

She was attacked by a Labrador and Jack Russell when she was 14 weeks old! I also had Rizz with me. I am only a 5ft girl, my dogs tried to hide and these dogs were on them, the other owner just laughed and walked off. They STILL go out without a lead. Luckily it wasn't serious! My girls were so scared!

I have a blue 2 yr old staffy hes is so sweet hes never growled at my 2 Young children. he has a lovely temperament :)

ive known a few very friendly staffies not all of them are bad i think it all comes down to proper training
