PLEASE HELP! my brother and i watched a movies a couple years back and we forget what it is called,it is about a white man living in a chinese villiage with his master undderground with students, and he is also a theif. hoped i was specific enough, please help, thanks
My favorite martial arts film is Circle of Iron. It leads whole new depth to Kill Bill as well. Carradine plays six different roles in the movie. It deals with the philosophy behind martial arts as well as the art itself. And I loved Kill Bill.
Putting Iron Monkey on there, really gave u some cool points, but kill bill is just a terrible martial art movie. The fight scenes were painful to watch. Uma, can't fight and its obvious because all show she does is throw the sword around while people react to her by flinging themself on the floor...but i love how u deliver your reviews, an you definitely need to check out "super ninja" and "Mystery of chessboxing" also " A Book of Heroes" when u can
Thanks for the titles! I don't mind you guys giving me new movies to check out at all. Keep 'em coming because I really enjoy watching them and could churn out a better list next time around with enough exposure. :-)
I've seen Fearless and I definitely toyed with the idea of putting it in this list but since I picked a lot of different types (comedy, drama, etc.) I decided that I preferred Jet Li in Hero. I know I've seen one of the Drunken Master movies but can't remember which one....I'll watch for Fist of Legend.
I will second this suggestion. I am surprised that Ip Man (叶问) did not make it into your top 5 list. The movie Ip Man is quite recent. If you love Chinese martial arts movies, you would definitely love this movie. A sequel is currently being produced.

Great list. Also, you might want to check out "Fist of Legend" "Drunken Master 2" and Jet Li's "Fearless." I think you would really enjoy those.
