@RaptorGP Cool, do you have a video of it? Does it look exactly the same? Mine has registration documents from 1983, but it seems to be a little older.
@Volgaman21 So, my PS is orange coloured. Unfortunately, I haven't seen it for a few years, actually that time I didn't have any interest about motorbikes. But now I change my views. :) I think I'll make a video in October.
@juankenon Half fairings? As far as i know it's complete as it is now, no body panels or fairings missing. In the Netherlands are also only a few, although apparently they sold quite well here in the 70's and 80's. I heard they were mostly sold in NL and UK. I don't know how many are left in the UK, many in NL were sold and shipped back to collectors in Russia.
One was for sale here recently, fully restored but he was asking $5000 for it, which I found excessive. They are my favourite Russian bike though. The fairings I saw were on the net, some guy in Spain was selling his, very nice on this bike (google image search shows it near the top of the list). the Иж site shows their racing bike in full fairings, nice as well but not as practical. The fairings are probably an after~market add~on. I hope you ride the hell out of that beauty.
@juankenon $5000 is too much indeed, even if it's in perfect condition. Keep on searching, sooner or later you'll find one for a more realistic price. Try it in Europe and have it shipped to your place. Now I saw those fairings, but I like it the best as naked bike. I love the cockpit, very simple with the control lights and the speedometer in the head lamp. About the riding, sure i want to ride the hell out of it, that's what it's made for. I didn't buy it to sleep in the garage. :)
@madeinussr1 Well, it's possible that the bike is from an earlier year. It was for the first time registered in 1983, maybe it has stood some years in the shop before it was sold. How can you tell how old it is, what are the details to look at? Maybe the frame/engine number gives a clue? It would be very interesting for me to know more about it. In my country there is not much info about this bike, so i'm happy with all info that i can get. If you could help me, i'd appreciate it very much.
Now I'm restoring it so i can't put video here but in summer when everything will be done I will put some videos about restore and how it looks. Mine is 1979 russian version with russian electric and carburator and engine is attached with screws at the front.
@Megaopazz That will be cool to see yours. I didn't know that the front engine attachment is also different between Russian and export models. Are there more differences that you know of?
@Megaopazz That's cool. You can put a video from it on youtube. Yours is with the Russian electrics and Russian carburator you mean? At least mine has Russian speedometer :)

@1smokeboy Why?

This bike can't be from year 1983, its about '76-'77 I think, If fully Japanese version.
Speedometer is changed with Russian K-750 or Dnepr one.
