Lets just put it this way, If kobe bryant wasnt good phil jackson would have never went to the lakers. Sorry man, but kobe at the of 18 was better than michael at the age of 18, and 19 and 20. Its takes other teams to put 3 superstars on the same team to have a chance to win a championship. do you really think a player of scores 81 points in 4 quarters of basketball is overrated? Jordan was a ball hog for real, you would be lucky to get a pass from him 3 times during an entire season
Stuck between a simple thought and the dream that follows greatness--inside a mental cloud..inside of MY MIND...this video will forever signify the best to ever step foot on the hardwood floor..thank you for piecing it together. They remain the greatest to master the art.
Die hard kobe/laker fan, always have been always will be.Born in 93,Kobe is the reason I love b-ball so much and sports in general. His work ethic, heart and just will to win is inspiring just like Jordan's.I'm sure if I was from the 80's it be the other way around and probably MJ would be my fav player.I understand and know enough to recognize MJ as the greatest of all time like most, but at the same time I hate comparing them they're not the same Jordan is Jordan Kobe is Kobe and that's that.
kobe needs more dribbles to get his shot than mj did. this is primary difference that makes mj better than kobe. thus, kobe's game facilitates more standing by teammates than mj's game. watch any of mj's games, and you will see he rarely takes more than 3 dribbles before he shoots in half court set, so mj gets his shots more in the course of the offense, and teammates anticipate better and make cuts or crash the boards (more movement) when mj catches the ball rather than stand.
oldnbaschool dude if tschaikinvasalefgg can effortlessly dunk, hence even you can, I'm merely 5ft 7inches tall for godsake. Just simply be dedicated to a working jump course like the one over at 50inchvertical[dot]com, it will maximize your current jump and your rebounding ability.
kobe bryant could not do HALF the things a prime 1987 michael jordan could do. if you fags never seen an mj game in 1987. watch it on nba channel. blow ur mind away
can u please make a longer version? it would be great if you could do even more move comparisons (i.e. jordans switch hand layup to kobes hangtime shot over dwight in the finals)...the similar celebrations, etc also give the video a very ethereal/eerie feel, i really enjoyed it. one of the BEST mj/kobe videos i've seen. music, sound bytes, clips, etc....PLEASE make a longer version !
@ytrbrown thanks man for good words. but now I will not make it. If i would put almost every similar move than I would compare them. In this mix I don't compare, I compare just their passion for the game. Ya know. Thanks again.
2 AMAZING players man them to on the same team is hell. The thing with Jordan was he was SOOO dominant. Hes the man that everyone hops on his shoulders, the man could literally carry his team to victory.
thanks for making a video not comparing who is better, but just showing that both are amazing players with a rare drive to be the best, and succeeding in their era
@stlouie16 true..but dwade mastered the bankshot..even though he doesnt really used it anymore..id rather bank it..than turn around fadeaway..but to each is own..
true. i still think kobe has a more all around game and is the most skilled player in the league, especially with his versatile post game. But I will say that dwayne, and especially lebron, are more dominant right now due to the athleticism and youth they have over kobe, plus the large amount of skill they have
@stlouie16 yeah lebron is the most dominant but kobe is more skillful..when lebron learns the fundamentals then he'll really be a problem..because in a couple yrs that 40+ inch vertical is going away..
