That's how all marching bands should be. I love this kind of sound. Kinda strange, cause i'm in a very militaristic white band, i play tuba, and i got my section leader into the gangster stuff, and hopefuly our band will eventually be like this. Even if it takes decades.

a wood wind section would actually help balance out this band! Have you ever heard them live! You don't know the song because they blast it! I'm a Southern Alumni and i love them but i prefer balanced bands

Answer This Question For Me When You Look Across The Field You See A Band As Great As THis How Do You Feel On The Inside Do Your Heart Want To Just Jump Out Your Chest And Run away Because When It All Over You Have No Chance Even Attempting To Compete On Level Of Competition The Human Jukebox Brings Everytime They Step On And Off The Field

No other band sounds like SU and no other dance team can dance like the Dancing Dolls. They are definitly one of a kind. Any other HBCU band can go take a seat when Southern comes around.

i will not lie this is one intimidating(excuse my spellin)band.we play them in chicago last year when you part of a small band and watch them march in get in formation you just won't to hold your head down and say lord help us lol

@allhaih2bhs what do the dancing dolls do that is so unnatural. They do the same moves year after year and only people who have not seen them or their so call jag nation enjoy seeing them. When the orchesis hit the dome they will shut them down.
