What's going on is not new.. Even in the nineties there was music that was all about girls being naked and shaking their behinds to get a rise out of men with money ( or so they claimed) There were R&B songs about sex, alcohol, and money way before rap began. The difference is the sound.. BUT just like back in the day, there are good songs out too. You just have to find them and be willing to turn off the radio. What the artists need to do is spend the amount of time that artists like Mike did creating and perfecting their craft. New doesn't have to equate bad but majority of the new artists don't put everything that they have into music or performance. That's why they come up with the lyrics that are out now...... I felt show was kinda unorganized. Jamie not knowing when they were back on, the teleprompter not wking properly, seeing the stage people in the background. Was it the Jamie Foxx Show 'cause he performed like 10X's (OK not 10)? Yes they had to revamp the show but they did have a program initially. It's not like they started frm scratch. I felt it should've run more smoothly. It seems all the BET Awards shows have run in the same unorganized fashion.

With CNN covering the red carpet the Buffoon Entertainment Television awards got even more exposure than it normally would have. Did anyone in the BET hierarchy even consider inviting MJ to perform before he passed away? Talk about disingenuous. And the only MJ that helped Lebron was Michael Jordan. And why is BET one of the only channels not broadcast in HD? The network is a joke; TVOne is just slightly better but even they have a way to go. But I digress - I like this video y'all did.

Both parts of this video was hilarious. I was very depressed after watching BET award show. They should've created a tribute special for Michael instead of trying to change the whole award show, which was a disaster. I can't believe I fell for the hype. Thank you for sharing this video!!

i thought the only weak performance of the show was wayne, drake, and that other dude singing "Love every girl in the world". That song is horrible. And Drake was hurt on stage with a bad ankle because he got robbed friday before the show on sunday. I loved Jay-z's performance and i'm mad Asher Roth, Lupe Fiasco, Common, and other lyricists didn't performance. i give the awards an 8 out of 10.

It was absolutely horrible, and you didn't get into the controversy. Brother T is more aware than any of you. I don't know who you ladies are but if you're trying to be singers maybe you shouldn't do this. The industry is incestuous and the lack of depth in this "report" was telling.

Good performances included Monica Ft Keshia cole although it supposeto be the other way around Jay Z, Beyonce, Drake by hiseslf, Trey Johnny and the rest of them Jamie and Neyo did good too..
