hi i was wandering if you could give me the ecuations you used to build your tesla coil and explain me how you connected everything or make a video showing how. if you could also tell me or make a video about how to make a plasma globe i'd be more than pleaced and gracefull i need this information because i'm planning to built one for my science projec and i really want to impress my science teacher so if you could do this ass soon as possible that would be great thank's
@docatomics I was wondering why people were not getting my video's. I hope you liked it. I have some really cool stuff on the way. Take Care My good friend peace!
A Tesla Coil has very few turns on the primary input side, and many turns on the secondary output side. This increases the voltage tremendously. And so this is where the math comes in. It depends on how many turns on your primary, your secoundary will have many more turns. The diameter and height of the tube as well, example: Primary: coil 20 turns, 20cm long, 25cm diameter, Secondary: coil 1000 turns, 35cm long, 10cm diameter. Google! Tesla Coil Calculations for a list of formulas! Peace!
in a tesla coil the ratio between primary and secondary turns isn't what causes th high voltage in the secondary circuit. the primary circuit produces a magnetic field that builds up and than collapses wit ha set frequency, in addition to that the secondary circuit has a set resonance frequency. When the primairy and secondary circuit are matched to one another the resonating magnetic field causes an alternating current to flow in the secondairy circuit
Okay but does it power your home? Subbed you anyways.

@shazizz
actually you are wrong,

do you use 500 turns on your wire, how many turns on copper tube
