  • I did the myofascial release right before my leg workout and when I started doing front and back squat supersets, my legs got really tight and cramped up HEAPS. Is this normal for the first time trying that?

  • I've been doing that warm-up ever since I saw Smittydiesel's videos. Definitely has helped my workouts/mobility in the weight room and on the field. I also have a PVC pipe for my myofacial release. Plus the bench video that smitty has helped me increase my strength dramatically. Just the elbow correction was what I was missing, and my shoulders have never felt better. I know this is an old video, but Keep up the hard work and good luck at your show.

  • I used to be a ballet dancer(yeah im a guy lol). I did a deadlift int ballet shoes once. Those shoes are piss poor for any kind of strength training lol.

  • It's good that you massage with the ball. I bought myself a cone shaped stirofoam roller and one of those wooden rollers after I started having IT band issues and it has helped tremendously. Doing that combined with stretching is just as important as the main part of the workout for the sake of preventing injuries. This is very useful advice people should take to heart.

  • @Haseeb2 yeah man... I noticed big changes in how I felt mobility and flexibility wise after I added myofascial release and dynamic stretching to my life. I felt so much better, especially my back and legs recovery after a squat or deadlift day that should've left me in shambles

  • @UFCchoseME as of lately - every other day! usually 20 minutes of post workout cardio. I'll also be throwing sprints.

  • @flexforall2 ah ok, do you have to be consistent for a long time? cuz ive been running for a while now, but i havent been losing weight.

  • @UFCchoseME personal individual factors all come in play... but in general, if you what you're doing isn't making you lose weight... You can try adding more activity into your week. (weighlifting, cardio, sports, walking, etc) WHAT you're eating can also be the factor. Less processed foods, more vegetables (vegetables>fruit). Less simple carbs and carbs in general. Less fat. Basically... One really easy thing to do is replace 1/2 or 3/4 of your carbs with green or mixed vegetables.
