Not true...Been flying into EWR from DTW for a decade on NWA. 50% of the time the equipment is a A 320 (especially the first one in the morning that lands around 8pm at EWR)!

NWA is phasing out the DC9 so the airbus 320 will now be flying from EWR to DTW 100%

i have to agree with cammaster you end up flying any of the dc9 series or the embraer 175 or actually an airbus A319

They dont use Airbus on any DTW flight from EWR either DC9,Embraer175 or CRJ-900
