when i was in highschool my teachers only did the 2nd memory 7 1 2 thing. which cleared the ram idk how strict some of your teachers are but that was the basic clearing and that was easily taken care of. after writing the notes in a program i would just press 2nd memory archive then select the program with the notes and press enter. it would say done and any attempt to clear the ram would not clear the program. to unarchive you do the same 2nd memory then choose unarchive then select the program

works as advertised, but the only problem, which for me a major one, is that you get the "Mem cleared" screen almost instantly. when you do a real reset, there is a Resetting All... screen or something, and then after 5-10 seconds it comes up with mem cleared. this is a big problem if the teacher manually clears it.

PS: my I recommend using, in addition with fake , the text editor notefolio which allows you to send converted word docs to your Ti 83 - 84+ and open them on it. Notefolio is official free software and found on the TI site

i just perform a switch, borrow someone elses calculator, use the first one as a decoy let the teacher erase on the first one then once she leaves or is not looking switch the calculators replacing the first one with the second one that has all the info and cheats. a jacket with a inner chest pocket is helpful or cargo shorts.

No, because by taking the test you agree to abide by the stated rules, which will include (weather stated on the test, or in the administration guidelines) that no unauthorized programming of any sort (read: anything other than the built it stuff) can be on the calculator. This is backed up by the fact that every TI 83+ family calculator comes with the software to save calculator programs and apps to your computer for safe keeping.

Sucks for us, but fair is fair.

many teachers clear your ram or entire calc. before tests. if you have any programs or apps they will be deleted. Some people want to keep apps (such as conversion tools and equations) or programs (such as quadratic formula and foil) so that they can work more quickly and memorize less.

So you can have programs or notes saved so you can use them in the tests. The teachers know this so they request you clear your memory or whatever and this is a way around that.

Well you also have omnicalc which makes RAM memory backups and DISABLES the "Reset" menu!!! That's excelent :P

i have your application on my calculator.

i run the application through my calculator, and it asks me for the unlock digits. just like the video asked.

then i press 2nd ---> + ----> 7 (reset) ----> 1 (all ram) ---> 2 (reset)

then it says Ram cleared.

Then when i go back to apps i can still see all my applications!

your program was supposed to hide them until I enter the unlock code?

Thats because you are only clearing the RAM. To have all your apps hidden as well, you have to do a Memory Clear, which clears both RAM and Archive

You don't run the program, and then clear the memory.

It will only fake the memory clear if you run the program first.

What you have to do is get the TI Connect software from Texas Instruments (on their website). Then you just drag the app to the TI Connect icon while your calculator is connected to your computer.
