Last year's YoumaCon got the most PR, than any of the previous years. This event made the local newspapers (Free Press, DetNews) and the radio station WWJ 950AM.

Now, for some more positive PR action, I recommend public radio station WHFR 89.3FM, they showcase anime and techno music every Thursday night.

You might need to get a hold of WJBK FOX 2 Detroit, they have a weekend news show that usually showcases these kinds of events, plus it also on Halloween Weekend and more people will dressup.
