Great job...great life...great video....I like it all.
Can I ask a question shop related...your grinder seems to be attached to bench grinder...did u make it..if no, would you share who did...looks really nice
I like this a lot. Typically people who live in small houses and off the land are made to seem as if they aspire to more, and if not theyre just hicks. I really like that this guy chooses to live like this and he's just a normal guy making a conscious decision.
Living off the land and creating something with your own hands is rewarding, inspiring, and can be a lot of hard work. Great story and lovely craftmanship!
fantastic skills.I think eveyone should know at least one skill that doesnt require electricity like fire making, pottery, plumbing.Knowing one skill is worth a thousand computers.
It's really inspiring to see people who are so focused and put so much love into creating these items. Every blister and callus this guy has acquired is a reminder to keep on keepin on because you truly love what you do.
To me, this is what we, as a people, are longing to get back to-a life where we live off the land as much as possible, rely on technology less and less, and be learn how to sustain ourselves. I think this is how humans are meant to live anyway! After all, your ipad won't cut your crops down for ya. ^_^
@creatornat its something thats in our DNA...there's something natural about it. I love these portraits cuz they show people doing things the old fashion way, living off the land and there was nothing wrong in doing things that way. Technology doesn't always mean something better.
