What's amazing about that beach is that at night when you walk on the beach the static make it like a sparkler under your feet it's really amazing check it out when your out that way make sure you check out charles town landing also really cool.

i just got back from isl of palms. its so fun. we go all the time. THE WAVES WERE AWESOME

We just returned from IOP. They had about 400 yards of beach closed down for reconstruction. It's a mess, but it will restore the beach. Kids loved all the bull dozers and tractors. 24 x 7 operation.....all night long equipement is running........

I use to love walking with my daughter on iop. Now we cant walk on the beach with out ever perv. comming up and hitting on us, it makes me sick and sad beond beleif. I hate it here and cant wait to move.

On the IOP?I grew up there''68-'73. That's a shame. There were only 2,000 pop there when I was there;no interstate by-pass; everything had to use old Ben Sawyer! I lived on Forest Trail. I went by old house in '97.Same couple who bought it from us in '73 still there and asked me in to look around!

68-73, the other side of Waterway was swamp and woods; all of it. No golf, cc,condos, nada. We bought for 21k and sold 5yrs later for 23k('97: 240k)!! 1/2 houses on Forest Tr didn't survive Hugo.
