Did you choose to edit the audio? Or use an alternate version of the song?  The length of yours is roughly correct, but there seems to be missing lyrics... Most notably :

"I am

tainted.

And happiness, and peace of mind

were never meant for me."

Curious about the difference...

@aevolver Hi! Thanks for watching and noticing such great detail! Yes! I replaced that section with the other verse cause I felt those few lines were a bit too hopeless for the video that I was trying to make. I've been a nin fan since the first week pretty hate machine came out and always felt a great amount of connection to Trent's lyrics but I had to edit the song cause i wanted to keep with it a bit lighter. Thanks for writing : )

This song is stunningly beautiful - I don't think I can ever get bored of this. The true beauty of NIN's music is that, whether it's harsh, provocative, soft, mellow or screamin' - the songs always have this wonderful, atmospheric vibe that evokes such a powerful response when you listen to it. It's like if a particular 'mood' could write a song!

Trent's songs paint such a picture and set a scene in your mind just with the music and melody alone, I find it impossible not to get sucked in....
