@sniffman1 I have played them both. they are very identical on game style and game play. the differences are minor and cosmetic. this has more item's and monsters. the fighting is exactly the same. click and flail. they both have you build your own little place to survive and it can be as fancy or simple as you like. they both have minor and inconsequential end goals that don't get in the way of the building aspect. btw health bars and floating damage numbers do not make a rpg.

@neotruekaiser They are not identical. Minecraft is a survival building game with no end goals and Terraria might look like Minecraft, but has a very different kind of gameplay. Minecraft does not have NPCs nor bosses. Minecraft has not changed at all since the beta and Terraria has changed a lot more.

@sniffman1 now who has not played what :P. mincraft added the dragon to kill after it went version 1.0. npc's got added in 1.1. and in 1.2.3. the npc's will multiply on their own if there is room. :P oh and before the dragon, the goal was to find diamonds. very similar to how you have to find demon ore and scales here.

use wire and pressure plates to make hole traps at the bottom of pits that you can dig around your houses. then gather some shooty thingys the ones that shoot arrows and wire them up! anything that falls sown there now triggers the pressureplates sending arrows INTO THEIR FACES

if you combine the blade of grass , nights bane(made with demonite), fiery greatsword(made with hellstone from the underworld) and the muramasa at a demon altar (those purple things in the coruption) then you make the nights edge which is the 3rd best weapon in the game! You guys have three of the things that you need.

Hello TotalBiscuit, just wanted to let u know that I know a way that u guys can have more storage, piggy banks u know hold stuff like chests, but if u read from the tanner I think he says it. and I use a like 3 piggy banks u can fill them up and then pick them up with all the stuff in them still it is real nice a lot more space. hopeful hint. I am not sure if u can place a bank on the ground I use plank wood to set it on.

If you need more inventory space, but don't want to throw anything away, just take a chest that is nearly empty, and put some items in it. If you need something that you put in the chest, simply place the chest, take the item out, and take the chest back, however, I'm not sure if this will work with chestception. Even if it doesn't, it would still give you a MASSIVE increase in inventory.

@TotalHalibut Water Bolt is one of the best spells in the game :/ going slow is a good thing because it means it can hit targets multiple times; for example you could kill the Eater of Worlds in literally 15 seconds with it because it can penetrate targets unlimited times. The missle also has unlimited range and continues to bounce around until it hits 5 surfaces. Aqua Scepter does insane damage against bosses only at mid-long range. I'm a Terraria mage and love all the spells.

@SilverSomething69 I hadn't meant at end-game... but even then it is still very powerful; especially in PvP. For mid-game though it does great damage + unlimited range + piercing attacks + bouncing, which add up to equal a great spell. If you don't like it oh well, but it fits my mage-playstyle greatly and even at end-game I have fun with my mythical water bolt (I'm in full hallowed and have ever weapon in the game.)

Oh, a water bolt spell. Those are actually more useful than bullets most times for finding floating islands since mana regenerates anyways.

Use the spell straight up. If the bolt comes back down, there's an island above you.
