Hey, I was wondering how you power this thing? I bought one that didn't come with a power supply and I can't find a 10 volt DC adaptor. Any help would be awesome. Thanks!
@nut3229 None of the old PDS series pedals actually need 10V, so a 9V adapter will work. I use a converter cable which converts the PDS's 1/8" input into a standard 2.1mm Boss-style power adapter. These little cables are the ones that come with OneSpot daisychains or Godlyke daisychains. Good luck!
man, you have to check out my Effectron 2 for infinite, I've done some really crazy stuff with it. It does degrade the sound after about 20 mins, maybe an hour depending on the capture.. but I've been at gigs and captured the last "goodnite!" which repeated till the band was off stage and faded out. Then I left it running over night and started the next nights show with the same repeat totally degraded.
The Effectron is insane, its what I used for chorus/flange for Masquerade of Silence :)
@videoizer Haha, that's awesome! I've been really intrigued by rack reverb units, but I've never pulled the trigger. I've been looking at some Midiverbs and Quadraverbs recently and thinking about it, there are so many cool sounds in there, it blows my mind.
@Stribog123 A Delta Lab Effectron is really old, its a digital delay with modulation that has analog knobs and buttons for control. Its very cool because you can change pitchs, lengths, feedback etc.. on the fly in realtime with no gliches making it a great tool for live. Its a pre digital display unit. Almost all FX with digital display controls either mute or make a click or glitch sound during parameter changes.
wow infinitely, intensely cooooooL. another great craigs find dude. to quote the great James Hetfieild "Keep searchin, keep on searrrchaaaeeeaaann, this search goes on, on and on... frantic tick tick tick tick tick TOCK, fran-tic, tick tick tick tick tick TOCK!!!" LuLz
