  • Also, Great Camera Work, Filming! Very Nice Shots Man! Thanks!

  • That Was Great!! Old Alco's and on Jointed Rail to boot, how fitting! I was never an Alco fan growing up (i was all EMD), but when we lost them here in Canada, it Sucked! I remember not only CN & CP, but also GN and even some SP&S Alco Units rolling freights into Vancouver BC in 1960's & early 70's. Great Memories! If Alco did not have restrictions through the 1940's, into the 50's they may have kept up with EMD? Who knows? But its nice to still see them like this here on video! Thanks Man!

  • It's great to see Alco's still in operation. Thanks for the video. Excellent footage too.

  • Awesome video.

  • I have my own fond memories of the beloved DL PoconoTurn with these same units from back in August, 2007. I was in Tobyhanna and they were switching out cars at Keystone Propane. Not sure if it's still there today, but I'm sure the historic station where I watched it still is. In fact, the final clip @ 5:11 looks like Tobyhanna and the old tower is just out of sight to the right... Am I right? Great video. ;-)

  • Yes it is Tobyhanna. The switch goes into Keystone who still gets service.

  • @SFLRailFan Alco's Switching Out Industries in 2007, wow that would have been cool to see! Thanks Ted for sending me this Alco video here, Kev from Canada.

  • What a terrific video, thank you for sharing!

  • Great stuff!

  • Wow! Nice Job!

  • A lot of people call Guilford a locomotive museum, but I'd say that honor belongs to DL!
