The Final engagemen was a dogfight, sidewinders and guns only, 4 tomcats vs 6 eagles. 1 Tomcat was "Shot down" while 5 Eagles were "Splashed". F-14 Tomcat, ANYTIME BABY!

i don't see why we cant slap a coat of RAM (radar absorbing material) on the f-14 tomcats and drop the thrust vectoing raptor engines in place of the old jets
@ZacKramer Those engines take a lot money and time to maintain, democrats are gonna bitch about costs and we don't want that. To fit the engine on the Tomcat you would need to overhaul the body. The plane wasn't designed for pure dogfighting and pulling extreme G's anyway, its role is for the Navy is long-range interception
RAM is too heavy, launching and landing already heavy tomcats on carriers is risky enough.
Too late for that anyway, they're replacing them with F-18 E/F's now

I would have liked to see some of the famous manuevers seen in topgun. Like the decending barrel role done by mavrick when being taled by Jester. Shoulda had someone fly in a straight line whild you went directly over them and did a 180 turn to and inverted position. ive done it on ace combat 4.

I don't think they're coming out with AC7 but i might be wrong. Razgriz... they might bring back Nagase, which would be awesome, and you get to see Blaze. I guess the new name would be... Titan or Mace would be awesome names, think of others everyone on here.

The F-14 is one of my two all-time favorite flight sim planes (the other is the old P-51). Hey, I saw "Top Gun" at a young and impressionable age...don't judge me. Anyway, this is a great video. Can't wait for AC7. I hope the next one has an unlocking system like AC5, where you can unlock more advanced variants of each plane. I always thought that was cool. Oh yeah, and BRING BACK THE RAZGRIZ FOR CHRIST'S SAKE!

@glazuna but the Sukhoi PAK - FA (F-22'S twin brother) is out and has proven to be a more formidable opponent than the F-22!! Plus it is being exported to india thus the overall sales for the PAK - FA project will be greater and hepl the Russian jet last longer than the F-22

They don't even have the shame for at least acknowliging them!! Personally,the only "true" American aircraft that is worth acknowliging is the F-14 Tomcat since it was trully original in design since there was no other aircraft with a similiar design (other than the mig Flogger)!!

The more important issue is getting them to name anouthe ship name the Enterprise. The current USS Enterprise is due for decomissioning and being replaced by the.....*sigh*....Gerald R. Ford.
I would have liked to see some of the famous manuevers seen in topgun. Like the decending barrel role done by mavrick when being taled by Jester. Shoulda had someone fly in a straight line whild you went directly over them and did a 180 turn to and inverted position. ive done it on ace combat 4.
