I like the new super mario bros wii and donkey kong country returns though. Those are good new generation games. Pokemons good too :D

It's hard to disagree with this music and the awesome bonus levels. :) I'm not sure if I'd even really say EarthBound is the best for the SNES. I'd save that for Mother 3 being the best for GBA.

Although if there's an effective way to go back to cartridge or a USB variant for gaming that had all the space they needed to run a game- I'm sure that they would go back to that style of gaming and in honor of that, release game packs or put them on an online store.
PS3 and Xbox still have some pretty good titles that would easily keep itself in competition though.

Hate to break it to you, but the 50th anniversary was over 72 years ago. Nintendo was founded on September 23, 1889.

Ah, 1994.... I was 6 years old and I remember playing this game at that time. I wish I could travel back in time to the 90's (and de-age myself in the process)
I just got the ritual twin console that's compatible with Nintendo & Super Nintendo. I already hooked it up and I just ordered this game on amazon yesterday. I can't wait to play this good old game again.
Well the soundtrack DID push the SNES' sound system to it's limits, and it is the 1st title that comes to mind when most people think of the Super Nintendo. So you may be right!
