  • Qué recuerdos!!

  • I love Mints baby voice saying "First Aid" :D

  • SNES had such an awesome sound chip. Genesis could not compare.

  • @melvoin hell yeah man. but at the same time the genesis could pump out strong catchy music

  • and i allway's tout that the donkeykong country series pushed the snes soundchip to it,s limmit, but it seems that only tales of fantasy & star ocean pulls off everything as they rely on the flexible voice driver engine to overcome the 64kb limmited memory.

    annyway they all petty good!!!

  • was also the first to feature streamed audio voices, made possible by sound programmer Hiroya Hatsushiba. This sound engine was titled the "Flexible Voice Driver," and overcame the Super Famicom's small audio memory capacity by swapping short vocal samples on the fly..[citation needed] The "Yume Wa Owaranai" song, for instance, doesn't play any of the vocals at all, and several other songs go off-tune not far into the melody.)

  • Snes still had problem with voice acting so they had to steam voice samples from the cratiage.

Also this game use's most of the 8 channels of audio for sound.

  • i was listening to this vid, after the intro, and then i thought, why don't i just do that, fire up my zsnes lol

  • should have done burning tower it fucks shit up.

  • The US GBA version never got the voiced song

  • Yeah what is with them refusing to have voiced songs in US games.. they've started allowing them in anime! I mean, what's so different about having vocals? XD

  • Maybe it has something todo with copyrigth BS?

  • Yes but what's so different about -vocals- ? they're no MORE copyrighted than other songs.

  • at last European version used present map(or first act music, idk what its really called) music..

  • In the defence of the GBA, I really don't think the GBA could handle the music. If you tried to port the ROM to a GBA Cartridge, Put it in the GBA, and Turned it on, the GBA would probably EXPLODE...

  • @awesomeguy42 how is that -defense- of GBA?

  • @KairuHakubi

FYI, "defence" is a correct spelling; it's a European form of the word "defense."

  • @Watcher3223 Uh yeah I'm aware of that. I didn't correct his spelling.

.anyway if history is written by the winner, then surely we get to write spelling books ;3

  • @KairuHakubi

Okay, I see what your emphasis of the word "defense" was about. The person to whom you replied to made no defense, despite making an indication of doing so.

  • The GBA version was shit all around anyway.

  • i still stomached playing this game mainly cuz it was portable and good but i still thought the music was a sack of crap to begin with.

  • Actually I figured out the easy way lol...I've had it all along its just that, I needed to record the audio of the songs from the Sound menu in the game on Audacity without having sounds in the background like for example, the sound of my typing on the keyboard.

  • Hey do you think you can post seperate videos of ''As Time Goes On'' ''Midgard'' for 3 minutes each but in seperate videos? Because I want to turn em into mp3.

  • why not just grab the SPCs from snesmusicarchive org and turn them into mp3's from there through winamp? just the same they sound exact

  • Man, I remember playing this back in '05.....well it was'nt that long.. :)

  • Ooh, can you upload Retaliation?

  • haha sure! when i get back home tonight i'll do it.

  • ToP that's the best RPG!!!! I love the music! 5/5. I play the game again now ^///^
