I'm hoping you're right. Last years season was such a waste and a huge disappointment. You knew Callahan didn't have a grip on the team when he kept on his defensive coordinator who was clearly the weakest link (of a weak chain) in the team. I'm crossing my fingers and hoping Pelini has a successful year this year, a winning year.  But don't be too hard on him if he doesn't. He's working hard to make something out of a team that was hurt emotionally for 3 years.

It was hurt emotionally for 1 season when all of the Solich leftovers were gone. Those kids knew about the tradition and the Nebraska way. Bo's motivational style can fix that problem easily. Add his defensive knowledge and an offense and solid ground (and the coordinator can finally do his job), they'll have a good year in '08.

Bo is exactly the coach Nebraska needs, however, husker fans need to show some patience and let him put HIS players in place to run his gameplan. It's a 3 year plan. Shoot for the stars, but expect a 7-5 record for year #1.
