MAGLEV-Getting Back On Track

I am a ODU engineering alumni and would love to keep updated on the project from a technical standpoint. The ODU maglev website has so little information. Please add much more information, history, FAQ section, pictures, and videos to the ODU magelev website. The rumors are out there because there is no one source to get reliable data on this project, that is where the ODU maglev webpage should come in, thanks!

Any estimate of time of arrival? As a growing engineering school, feel that this is critical for ODU PR. Has anyone contacted Disney for potential support?

Thank you for your comment regarding the ODU MAGLEV project. Currently, MAGLEV is in the research and development stage, with a guideway (track) system on the ODU campus only.  The goal of our MAGLEV project is to develop safe, fast and efficient transportation for our students on campus. However, we believe the innovative "smart car" design of ODU's MAGLEV project will translate into valuable applications for public transportation as well.
