I bought my Marting backpacker because I travel a lot on business and had to go to Germany, taking trains with luggage, etc. I have only one thing to say, WONDERFUL!!! It does not pretend to be a TOP NOTCH guitar, but it does the job quite well, and you just hang it across your back, and it does not weight anything. I am very happy with it

Nice playing and voice.. I got one too. I travel a lot... Get some Elixir extra light strings on it, and it will improve the sound.

Washburn rover travel guitar is the way to go. Sounds warmer and less tinny, I have elixir strings on mine.

intonation has not got anything to do with the soundbox,its the scale of the guitar with how accurately the bridge n saddle are placed,got to be exactly the same distance from nut to 12th as 12th to saddle,compensating for string thickness

The washburn travel guitars suck.. Iv played them, And im about to purchase a Martin Backpacker.. I couldnt decide wich one to get.. Untill i played the washburn. And it sounds horrible compared to the Backpacker... SPEND THE EXTRA 50 AND GET THE MARTIN BACKPACKER!!!!!!!!!!
