Lelouch may be alive, anyone ever think the immortal geass from his father (which was located on the hand he chocked him with) transferred to Lelouch since he killed him....C2 became immortal from killing the immortal girl. So he be immortal.

@ Bigrussx5 i saw the anime and manga and the history of anime and manga are not equal, as it can be the same story but with different things and stabilize the sleeve, said he had died, but the anime is different, because he died, but the creators said it depends on the person that viewing the anime and read the manga must decide whether he is alive or dead, I'm perfectly fine. Very few people can create a story where the ending can have multiple interpretations and still make sense

The creators said that it is up to the person viewing it to decide if he is dead or alive , which I'm perfectly fine with. Lelouch DID die, but than his code kicked in and he went off with c.c

The writers of the show that say he's dead is telling the truth and lying at the same time, cause he did die at least for a few minutes for him to become immortal.

Lelouch found a way to purify the world of this evil called 'zero' and he broke the 'cycle' of solitude... meaning c.c got her wish.. that she is not alone..... c.c wanted to die because she was lonely because of the solitude of being the only immortal but lelouch broke that solitude by becoming immortal himself... and that is why c.c is smiling at the end; otherwise she would have shown a more depressing face of being alive forever and losing her only chance to die. Hence why he is alive

One reason lelouch could be alive is c.c had always said to lelouch that 'the power of geass brings one solitude(immortality)' meaning that they become immortal which led to c.c becoming lonely in the world because of the geass power... then lelouch said that he'd break that cycle of being 'alone'.... that is where the ending of code geass comes to mind where c.c is in the wagon... she is not alone.

actually they arent lazy..they ended the series like this because even though the series is finished they want people to keep wondering if lelouch is alive or dead and it raises questions thus keeping the anime series in people's heads.
