Thank you. Your tutorial is very helpful. I'm new to dizi and music in general. How do you select which key dizi to purchase. I think in one tutorial you mention that any key flute can play any major. G dizi is more easily play D and A majors. What is the advantage of each key dizi? If I buy a D dizi, which major I can easily play with a D dizi? I'm looking to buy my first dizi, but I don't know which key to select. I'm looking at carrotmusic and easonmusic. Do you have any places to recommend?
hay thanks a lot for all your videos, they have been really helpful to me. :)
this is really embarrassing but i just got a alto d major dizi today and i've applied the membrane with wrinkles and such like instructed...but no matter how hard i try to form a sound i can't make anything even close to a note, could you or someone possible tell me what i'm doing wrong?
is the flute meant to be hollow from end to end? as i found that the top half of my dizi is blocked off. hmm

A question: I don't have a dizi, but I was wondering, if you wanna like clean it (inside and out), will it affect the dizi in anyway? Like the sound?

It is much appreciated!
What is a dimo (you mentioned it being on your mokong) in english?
What is the mokong needed for? Probably an air exhaust for flute sound?

You're not supposed to hang it upside down for the saliva to drip. It'll jus get blocked by a piece of wood to the left of the blowing hole-.-
