  • @kosovolife go to kantan kana on this channel and start there. It is better to learn the simple Japanese "alphabets" than to rely on the Latin characters. Learning the kana is not hard like some people think. I assure you that this will improve your Japanese much faster. Good luck!

  • it could be better if it would be first in LATIN characters because its hard for me to spell it :S

  • That so harsh, saying "No, you're wrong!" XD haha

I would've said "Iie, sore wa okashi ga arimasen." (No, those are not sweets.) idk, seems more polite, or else that was what I was taught to say~~ :3

  • Kore = This

    Sore = That

    Are = That over there

    Dore = Which?

  • hiroko, you are great, thanks so much

  • I ment to say " iie ____ wa arimasen"

  • Can you say iie, mizu arimasen?

  • @CIDVICIOUS831 add the "ga" in between "mizu" & "arimasen" :D then it would make sense :)

  • @DarkDragonTamer whats ga? i heard it in many sentence's

  • @CIDVICIOUS831 "Wa" & "ga" are almost the same, but "ga" is subject relational. My teacher gave us a better understanding:

"Ga" emphasizes left-side information followed by "ga" therefore the left-side info cannot be omitted.

    EX:

    Q: Who is happy?

A: Susan san ga hapii desu. ("ga" emphasizes "Susan", so it's okay to say "Susan san.")

    Using "wa" is a sentence:

1.) Susan san ga hapii desu. (Susan san is happy.)

2.) Susan san wa hapii desu. (As for Susan, she is happy.)

    it's confusing @.@

  • That is great !!

  • you'll hear the japanese say "wa" "わ" but alot of the time the written version is "ha" は" even when spoken as "wa"

  • I'm starting to understand! Yay!

  • Hope they do an A+B+C question sentence video.

  • this is cool even though im part japanese

  • hiroko come back! :(

  • very helpful.

  • ahh I love these voice videos ^-^

  • @momothelemur it means "this".

    Kono, sono, ano.

This, that, that over there (statements).

    With questions its

    Kore, sore, are.

    :)

  • Easy to understand

  • What does 'kore' mea? She said it before 'no, it is wrong'.

  • @momothelemur kore = this

  • レッスンをありがとう。

  • please do advanced lesson for grammar!

  • I hate when there are only japanese lessons and books to study japanese at english, the only ones that are good at spanish are Japones en viñetas (Japanese in mangaland) and minna no nihongo

I had to learn first english to be able to study japanese DX

But anyways, very useful lessons, keep it going

  • @XXshirokuroXX that's bad. :\ Thanks god in school our form-master was English teacher. And we have at least 2 (most popular) diffirent editions of Japanese lessons in Russia.

  • @XXshirokuroXX

Te recomiendo dos cursos en internet en español

    - "Hablemos en japonés" de NHK WORLD

-¡El reto de Erin! Aprendamos japonés | La Fundación Japón.

:) El segundo es mi preferido ^^

  • Awesome, please make more videos like this!!

  • YES!! I love this new style of teaching, PLEASE POST MORE LIKE THIS!!!!

  • I miss Hiroko =(

  • This is the best video series you have! I hope you make these for intermediate students and so on because this is really effective!! Breaking it down makes it easy to understand so that I can apply it to other sentences! あ理がとございます!(^◇^)

  • It's really easy to learn

    Thank you very much

  • いいね!

  • @PrudencePwnsAll The thing about rōmaji (ローマ字) is that it can actually make remembering the hiragana (ひらがな) and katakana (カタカナ) a bit more difficult... If you are trying to learn Japanese from scratch, it is best to ignore rōmaji. Try not to rely on it, or at least try to ignore rōmaji once you become better acquainted with the language. Google why rōmaji is better left unused, you'll see. Good luck!

  • excellent lesson!

  • Could you put the romanji in the video please? =D

  • @PrudencePwnsAll here ill tell you =3 1) Kore wa mizu desu ka? (Kore wa okashi desu.) 2) Hai, Sou desu. 3) iie, chigai masu.

  • @NekomimiChanNyaa arigatogozaimasu, I got it right in my mind. =)

  • @PrudencePwnsAll why not try learn kana? has to be learned eventually

  • ありがとうございます!
