Check with your carrier but usually under 20 pounds can travel in the cabin. A few more pounds can be fudged by your vet and most airlines don't check weight... shhhh.

Also, check if your carrier allows a non-crush resisitant rollaboard. This one is so convienient and most don't even know your dog is inside. Safe Travels!

Yes, Paris is here and her attitude is just as stinky in the South! Neither one bark. Both did so well and slept the entire flight. i think fear or the sound of the engines make them sleepy. They did have an issue with the Security dogs at the MIA airport. Both were growling like they could take him on, yeah right! Personally, I would much rather hear a barking dog on a flight than a poor crying baby for 6 hours!

I can take her as carry on luggage because she is under 20 pounds. All dogs over have to be stowed in cargo/baggage area. Izzy would hate it down there b/c of the sound but she fits right under the seat and was a great traveler! The only forms you must have are all of her current vaccinations and a Doggie ticket. Call ahead as most airlines only allow two pets in the cabin per flight.

Hi Lana, Can anyone take their dog on a flight, under the seat, or is it because you work there? I thought they had to be in a crush proof dog cage and put in a special place for dogs. Izzy is so adorable.

I think it would depend on the airline and their rules. I would always call and verify everything before the flight. I doubt that they would make exceptions for someone that works for them as others would complain.

My poor feet are a wreck from flying around so much. My best tip for uncomfortable shoes is a bit of Talcum powder or Vaseline around the edges that rub. That has helped me so much.

I also will buy shoes a bit larger and then use heel grips to keep them on but I like the extra roominess.
