I'm so excited...I get to go as a highschool foreign exchange inn a few years..... unfortunately, I have to eiether find a cheaper organization, or get a job and pay for myslef...which really wouldnt be too bad, but I go to an IB school, and I have community service hours and lots of homework to do...but other than that, I have the ok from my parents!.....did the anime and manga cost less(if you compare the worth of yen to normal money) than what countries other than japan pay?

*-* Let me think... I haven't watched anime in a while, but I do like Death Note... Maybe I'd buy the whole series on DVD. Naruto's cool but it's way too long and full of fillers. If they have any studio Ghibli movies there like 'Princess Mononoke', 'Spirited away', 'The cat returns' or 'Howl's moving castle' I'd definately buy those! XD I love Miyuzaki's (sp?) films.

That's cool, Spirited away and Howl's moving castles were good movies. I haven't watched Death Note yet, but my friends recommend that series for me to watch. I would propably buy a bunch of Naruto manga and anime. I would also get the Fruits Basket series anime and Wolf's Rain anime. I'd buy a bunch of other manga too. I love to read ^_^

Did you go to animate? It looks kind of like it from the video but it was hard to tell. I know it's right next to Akita Station, in the same center as that gigantic TV. Manga Souko is another anime store near Akita City. It's one stop before the city but it depends on which way you are coming from. It's huge and it's where I got most of my souvenirs from. Check it out if you are still in that area. Thanks for posting the video. It brings back memories for me.
