I don't understand why people don't like this Jesus. He has a sweet sounding voice and I really like him. He's not Ted Neeley but I just enjoy the way he sounds. Of course, Drew is FANTASTIC as always. I like these two together!

It's not sisterly. It's just Jesus wasn't in love with her. He was defending her because he wanted to get through to Judas that she was one of them now and she should be treated as any other disciple.

come on people, you are missing the subtleties of jesus' performance here! the whole point is that he is pensive and small next to the adrenaline-pumped crowd. do yourself a favor: enlarge the screen, watch his face reacting during the entire song. great acting, and his voice suits it just fine for me.

I really like Jesus' voice in the beginning, but when he defends Mary, he falls a bit weak and sounds more like shouting than singing. Drew Sarich and Kudra Owens fantastic as usual. :D
