Beautiful! Simply beautiful. I've been a huge fan of Phil Beer from his days with the Albion Band, to Show of Hands, the Phil Beer Band and all else in between. He's such a worthy talent and brings to the stage and the studio a touch of brilliance that takes one's breath away. I love the way his vocals and fiddle blend so beautifully here. A very magical performance by all.
@foreverspring Thanks for commenting, I'm glad you enjoyed the video. I will be seeing Show of Hands again in a couple of weeks so I will see if I can get a better video of this great song. I did record them doing it at Gloucester Catherdral last year, but because they left the stage and performed the song from the body of the building, that isn't a very good video either. I am determined to make a good one of Phil and the others playing this song....one day! Thanks again
@AaranAardvark No, thank you for giving me the opportunity to hear this beautiful performance. Phil Beer was part of the first Albion Band recording I ever heard (in the early 90s - A Christmas Present from the Albion Band), and I've been a huge fan of his ever since. I'm always checking Youtube for any videos of him; hence I discovered this one a few days ago and was blown away. How lucky you are to be seeing these folk in a few weeks! Enjoy! And good luck with the video!!!
