I think one of the best things about this game is the fact the characters actually say something meaningful to each other at the beginning and end of the fight if they have some sort of connection story-wise.

This game was probably the one true "waggle" game for wii. Timing your swings does NOTHING! The only way to play is 1. Waggle (clash) 2.Find an opening 3.attack :P

What various slashes? Vertical, horizontal, guard break and bankai... not a lot to work with and its not like you have to time your swings. Bleach Versus Crusade is the sequel and they get rid of the annoying waggle however, so there.

The "so there" was to end my sentence but all in all my argument is the statement of the fact that this game is waggle-reliant, as in you rapidly swing the wii-mote vertically or horizontally to attack.

Just played the japanese Bleach Versus Crusade for 1 hour (effectively completing story mode's normal path) and it has been improved in all fields, I must say.

Yep, but some people would complain that characters from this game don't make a playable apperance on Versus Crusade; that's the main weak point of this new game.

I read your other comments and you would agree with me that this game system would need an improvement with... have you heard of WiiMotionPlus? It's cool!

Had to buy one to play Red Steel 2 and, yes, WiiMotion Plus is awesome. I did miss alot of characters from the first but the time I played with my friend (and retrying to learn the controls because I can't read Kanji) was (almost) enough to overlook that.

WiiMotion Plus? By giving the player more control over the characters, instead of focusing on waggle engine, the game could accentuate more attack/combo capabilities and give more involvement in activating and using special abilities and power ups.

Well, we do see the Shikai, just not the special abilities that come with them. However, I read somewhere that the author of Bleach authorised the use of water and lightning for Ukitake in the videogames, which would mean that they could be fairly accurate.
