  • lol same thing happened to a friend only it was thicker mud and a sink hole. took 3 tractors, back ho, excavator, 5 trucks, and a bull dozer to pull it out. Well it was more of a clay/dirt/sand mixture but it would lock up my tires so i couldnt move and just spin.

  • Should've bought a Jeep

  • @krispyle jeep wouldnt have made it to the bog

  • yo if you get a snatch strap and just keep yankin on that shit it would have come out some times it takes awhile took my friend 15 minutes of straight snatchin me once to get me out

  • hahaha another chevy bites the dust

  • This is great. You did well. That looks like some really nasty mud.

  • should have tried....at least for the show!

  • @EcksBawks may b if u stayd in skool u cud tipe in english......LOL

  • im pretty sure that the guy who made the video would know what kinda truck he has...

  • so did it come out?

  • i got a crane...

  • @EcksBawks , are you blak?...yeah i said blak without a c... nukka

  • just a little weight in the back of the truck and no prob dragging that pick-up anywhere

  • what was that

  • i was framed out in a swamp, took a ford a 2 jeeps and an fj40 to pull me out

  • If I tied my dick around that and ran away from the vehicle I would have no probs pulling it out.

  • best comment ever

  • @ozzybungle

    that makes two of us

  • is he talking about something else cause i don't see why a duece and a half wouldn't be able to pull that truck

  • should have bought a ford...lol..

  • ford sucks dumbass

  • @06GTOLS2 ... i'm not going to argue..you or your opinion mean nothing to me...lol...

  • they even could've used the tree as a pulley

  • why not try it straight? and it would pull that chevy in HALF its a duece and a half!

    6x6

  • wow thats a pretty good stuck id be proud of that.

  • Who cares if the dump won't pull it out. It's a Chevy, just leave it there!

  • ouch! lol

  • @dwiganstube AMEN!!!

  • @dwiganstube if it was a decent driver it would have never gotten stuck

  • nice truck but where is the hood

  • did it pull you out?

  • what the fuck?

  • Nevermind I watched the other video and figured it out. People don't know what they're doing.

  • I'm not gonna argue about the motor in the 6x6, however I can't grasp just why the 5-ton won't pull a stockish 3/4 ton Chevy...?? Is it hung up on a stump?

  • haha THIS will pull THAT straight out of a 800 foot canyon if you had the right chain

  • hahahaha

  • got the same 6x6 you have

    its just painted cat yellow

very useful vehicle for on site

    construction

  • That dump is the 5 ton M929. Equipped with the 8.3l as already noted. Per the 'dash 10' manual, I remember them rated at only 225 hp, believe it or not. The older version had 10 tires, and the A2 version had six big singles, 52" Michelins, IIRC.

  • Wrong again guys. I was sitting in the garage when the Techs from cummins came and rebuilt it in the truck. This truck has a NHC 250, 6 cyl, in-line, 855 cu in, 250 hp diesel by cummins.. Simple math dictates that 855 cubic inches divided by 61 cubic inches/liter equates out to 14 liters. The cummins C series motor is an 8.3 liter. 8.3 x 61 = about 504 cubic inches.

I really dont understand why you guys cant seem to grasp what I'm saying.

  • Do some research and you'll find that it was the predecessor to the highly popular N14 engine, thats pulling a high percentage of your semi trailers around. (855 cubic inches divided by 61 cubic inches/liter = 14 liters) Thus the N14 name.

  • @onrevlimiter I got ya. simple unit conversion...

  • @onrevlimiter Pehaps it's becuase we.... zzzzzzz!

  • @wileycoyote35 The M939 and M939A1 models use a Cummins NHC 250 diesel engine, producing 250 hp. The M939A2 models use a smaller Cummins 6CTA 8.3 engine producing 240 hp.All models have the same automatic transmission.

  • You just got owned.

  • You are actually 115% wrong. Im sorry to tell you but you were probably not even born yet when this truck was made. 8.3 x 61 = about 504 cubic inches.. So there is your 115% wrong.

  • No sorry, the 6 C series motor by cummins wasnt even thought of at that time.

  • i've been in that situation b4, my chev lost the front pass. tire. the mud was up 2 the hood. they pulled me out with a 8000lb winch, snatch blocked. his truck was strapped 2 a tree. when the winch would stall out another guy was snapping a strap tight in second gear wide open, then they would hit the winch again.lol that was not a fun day. so how did u make out??? where's the ned of the video?

  • that 6x6 gets like 3/4 mpg i bet

  • I'll put 100$ on it getting better than that since your so willing to bet....

  • Oh? Reeeeaaaaaaalllly?

  • As you wrote it, three quarters of a mile, per gallon yes.

  • it will take two full size trucks to pull them out.

  • Put 12000 pounds on it and that truck will come out about twice as long as it was when went it.

  • that 5 ton will pull it out or in half.

  • haha now THAT's stuck.

  • chevy is the best in texas

  • bubba! get the shovel! haha then this could pull that out. clear the wheels

  • i just noticed thats a deuce and a half isnt it lol

  • like a rock

  • thats the way I usually see chevy's, just before I pull them out with my good old FORD!

  • lol that was good.

  • good old Chevy
