  • My mother & her sister used to listen to pirate radio station 'Radio Luxenberg' when they were teenagers and my grandparents were horrified. Loved this movie!

  • A living Legend a man who makes me want to watch movies.

  • bill nighy is probably the sexiest man in theworld... among the older guys :D

  • Hehe, he said Groovy~

  • My God, i love him :D amazing! the same level of awesome as Morgan Freeman.

  • Jesus i love him :D amazing

  • I loved Bill standing up for Curtis.

  • One Word: 'Underrated'

  • This man deserves respect.

  • Great Interviewer.

  • apparently everyone he interviews from this movie is "one of the greatest method actors"?

  • Articulate, eloquent, intelligent sexy man.

  • haha lol "buy her soap!"

  • I'm jealous of whatever he's chewing on.... with it were me in his mouth.

  • I love that, him saying he left home on the strength of the first Bob Dylan album.

  • to be honest the film constantly nods to quite a few different legendary radio station stories. it's not just radio caroline, radio jackie, luxembourg etc are all in there. if you've seen the film it's obviously not supposed to be realistic but to give a "feel" of the concept/period! :)

  • he's awesome. a legend.

  • I loved the movie, and I'm sure I'll watch it again and again. I kept hoping to hear a bit from 'Excerpt From a Teenage Opera! Mark Wirtz credits Radio Caroline for the success of his hit records in the UK.

  • Haha, I love how Nighy is talking about how the only plan was to entertain with a movie... hmmm? What a novel idea? (Love Curtis films, just an fyi)

  • FABULOUS interview. Bill's just too much :D

  • bill <3

  • there were 2 xmas song in this movie, one is beach boy, and there another one is? can someone help me?

  • is this movie about radio Caroline ??...  if it is about Caroline, where is Tom Jones hit , "It's Not Unusual," ;

(which Mills wrote and composed jointly with Les Reed, was an instant hit, released in early 1965. The BBC initially refused to play it, but an offshore pirate station, Radio Caroline, picked it up)

  • It's about radio rock, not Caroline.

  • yeah i think it was radio caroline

  • Yeah it's very loosly based on Radio Caroline. I saw the movie today and then an interview with Bill Nighy and he said that it was based around that.

  • Its not about Radio Caroline...just happens to be about a similar kind of station. It seems like more of a celebration of early pirate stations than a biographical film (in fact its factually inaccurate, but a lot of fun nevertheless).

  • Probably the same story as any song missing from a movie it belongs in. Licensing issues.

  • great actor, "still crazy" is a must if you like him in this type of film. brill performance.

  • I think he can be a Laurence Olivier(70's-80's) look-alike if he change his hairstyle & make his accent posh, don't you think? ^_^

  • dude, stop postin gthis stupid message on every Bill Nighy video on YouTube!!!!

  • Bill Nighy... posh accent... I reccomend underworld xD

  • i love him in POTC, i love the accent he created for davy jones, very unique

  • whoa, intense panning

  • that bloody interviewer, shut up and slow down

  • what did the interviewer say which bill than said how dare you? about the soap. thanks :)

  • the interviewer spoke more than Bill! questions are way too long!

the film is great though! :)

  • Bill Nighy is it!

  • God, he is very sexy!

  • @floribunda1969 100 agree. I want to marry him. Such a stylish dresser, the silky voice, the wit, the enormous talent and all. Watch his acting in the Robin Hood Tax. His forte is squirming. so funny

  • I love Bill, and I love his work, also his respect for Curtis is fully shrown through this and is truly touching.

  • He must have been privately mortified att this dreadful film.

It is not funny at all and is downright offensive.

    Luckily it's Curtis' last satnd.

  • Good on you BIll, you sold the movie to me, and i already seen it...............I dont really watch Curtis movies, definately the first time i paid to see one on the big screen, i enjoyed it very much, its actually nice to escape to this fairytale land for 2 hours! Didn't hurt !

  • First view and comment, keep up the good work Paul.
