Yes, you put all addons in the "addons" folder.

@linusorm It needs to go in Steam/steamapps/{your_username­}/garrysmod/garrysmod/addons I believe. I think my archive just over-writes your current garrysmod folder. You don't put all of it inside addons.

@linusorm The stargate mods appear on the right hand menu where your tools are if it was installed properly. If you load gm_construct you should have a stargate near the water.

So it means iris is stronger then vortex!

Yes. There already is one, but you have to attach it yourself as you do with the normal iris. The mod isn't mine, I downloaded it.

As abyss said, there is indeed a shield model for the iris for the Atlantis gate. The entire thing is very well done. Bring on stargate mod 45!
