I have three other names for you the roush stage 3 or the 427r! The saleen s281 extrme or the s305! and last the steeda q-350. All 30,000 less than the over powered Shelby all with better suspension brakes bigger tire meater aswell and biger rims that actually look good in the wheel well. Personally I'd take a roush 41,000 stage 3 and like 45,000 for the 427r

That looks like the sticker price for a GT500KR.

The base Shelby costs around $42,000, and it makes 500 horsepower.

The KR is more of a collectors deal, but it does have an upgraded suspension, different gearing, and better tuning.

'07 s289 non sc. the onlything gt500 about it is he hood, paint, and emblems. basically its a S289 saleen (stage 1) with 335hp. bcuz tehre is no way in hell a regular GT with fancy paint and bodykit can have a sticker of 80 plus grand. its gotta be a saleen

Truth is unless they open up the hood we will never know. Ive Seen V6 Mustangs with a Shelby Fascia and badges. Just cause it has the badges it doesn't mean its a GT500. The Gt500 and the mustang are exactly the same car . The only thing that separates them is Slight bodykit And the engine. You can debate all you want. Unless that hood is popped up you will never know.

Yeah man the new Shelby is definitely a cool car to have if your into collecting cars. But if your the kind of guy that wants a CHEAP car thats easily upgradeable you have to get your hands on the '03-'04 Terminators. If you drop like 1-3 grand on those machines, you'll be putting down at least 550 rwhp. Like I said, the Shelby is nice, but you can't beat the Terminators.

Who cares. Ford SVT team created the terminator (03-04 Cobra)and now Ford is wishing they could match the performance/price for that sweet Stang. Throw $1000 at a 04 Cobra (going for about 25k now) and you have 450rwhp (520 bhp) with forged internals and an independent rear suspension.

The Shelby GT500 is way too expensive. Just buy a C6 vette.

When they come down in price I'll trade in the termi.
